'I arrived a few hours early, but my room was available immediately. A lovely room with modern bathroom. I was in the single, which served my needs very well. Well heated. No problem with noise. Very close to train station. Godalming is a beautiful town.'

Het was ondertussen 1 uur 's nachts geworden en wij hebben de nacht in een ander hotel doorgebracht. Volgende dag naar Asperion gegaan en voordat we uit de auto waren stond Zoe al buiten. 'Lovely old coaching inn. Check in was friendly and we were shown to our room. Rooms recently refurbished with very plush furnishings. We had a superior double. Lovely little touches like bottles of water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits, great toiletries, even a pillow spray. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Like that they have kept the tradition of the building with pictures of the historical person and a description. Would stay here again if visiting Godalming '

'Great service and pleasant staff, good food. Surrey Hills nice scenery, good if you need to stay over close to Guidlford. Good wifi, only drawback is the mobile network. had to go outside for telephone calls, fortunetaly the weather was supporting this with plus 25 degrees celsius'

'Fine and affordable stopover from our trip to Wales going back home heading for Dover. Large room for the 3 of us. Breakfast OK, but a bit noisy. Took quite some time before tables were cleaned. Reception was OK, but not very welcoming. Limited parking facilities (full!). We did not really visit Guildford.'
