'This is our second time staying at the Gem Suites in Evanston. Everything is very clean. The staff is proficient and the breakfast is enjoyable. We also appreciate the free parking. We enjoyed ourselves and we come again last time. We had a larger suite which we liked better at our last stay. I would recommend this to any traveler who is staying for a couple of days and would enjoy an entire suite filled with a kitchenette.'

'This is a very basic option. The room was clean on arrival but not once cleaned in 3 nights 4 days. There is next to no staff, entrance from the outside works with the room key. The place is shockingly ugly even by the standards of these hotels. Aircon is so noisy that it's hard to sleep. For what it offers the price is offensive'

'No smoking room stinks of smoke, a lot be of dust and dirt on floor and expecially under the bed.. it’s near the airport so it’s very loud eith the planes, but we expected that. The only good thing about this nasty place was the Denny’s next door.'

'Right across the street from Wrigley this place is the place to stay if watching cubs game and visiting Wrigley. Gallagher way. Brand new. Fabulous staff that accommodated my early arrival bag storage & changing in rest room pre game. Only issue is parking. Not clear signage but it’s off Clark street look for big on building. Once you leave u pre pay but pull all the way up to exit doors or they won’t open spent 15 minutes figuring out how to trigger the exit Fabulous pregame or other...

'People beware of this location!! Pictures provided on Expedia are not accurate. This is not a hotel is more like a motel. The room is dirty holes in the walls. Fridge was dirty had dirt pile up. Furniture was 2nd had. False advertising. I don’t even want to get into it about the bed. Don’t not book here!!'

'The staff at this Super 8 over the past week were very helpful and Harry at the front desk was great and helped us with our parking needs. This was greatly appreciated! Great place to stay!
