On one side the beautiful ocean and on the other the middle of the jungle, with a river where we've seen alligators, and where swimming was therefore not allowed. 'We had a lovely, short stay at Finca Barlovento. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is restful and the overall feeling is very private and low-key, with a high level of service. The staff was very conscientious and accommodating. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable.
