'Heel teleurgestellend. Niet omdat het slecht weer was (daar hadden we rekening mee gehouden) maar wat we niet dachten is dat een hotel faciliteit daar niet goed op in kan spelen. Het effect was dat we het erg koud en ongezellig hebben gehad. Zeker omdat er in de villa's geen internet verbinding is. Daarvoor moet je naar de centrale ruimte (die weer erg koud is). Dit alles wel voor ongeveer 200 euro per nacht.'

'Eindelijk een hotel dat moeite doet om anders te zijn. Mooie ruime kamer met prachtig uitzicht en unieke bakamer! Het domein is mooi en groot genoeg om minstens een volle dag te relaxen. 'Eerste indruk negatief: onvriendelijk onthaal (wat een contrast met al die vriendelijke, vrolijke Ticos die we de voorbije 20 dagen mochten ontmoeten), koude, klamme kamer, geen andere gasten, te duur hotel voor wat het was, dure avondmenu (die we niet probeerden). Na 2 dagen wel enthousiaster, vriendelijke garçon, die overdag tuinman is in het hotel en die na aandringen open haard aanstak voor ons en wat meer vertelde over de historiek van het hotel,mooi interieur, mix van nieuw strak en oud...
