The location of the hotel is good. It took a bit to find because it’s at the end of a dead end street. The good things. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant was good and staff very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night. The location is handy if you want to walk and check out the theater or the university and everything around it. Things that surprised me. I’ve been to Mexico many times and I am very easy-going. But I do count on a hot shower when I pay to go to a hotel. The morning we left there was no hot water. It was freezing. The other two days, if you waited five minutes or more in the hot water came. they like to charge extra. So the hotel has a swimming pool on the roof. You would think this would be included in the price of your stay. But it’s not. They want you to pay an additional 350 pesos to use the pool. This did not sit well with me. The spa. It’s nice that they have a spa available. But the pricing is a little steep considering where you are. I chose not to participate. It’s a decent hotel and it was clean. The bed was comfortable and that’s my main concern. It was quiet and that’s important to me as well. I don’t think we’ll go back. But I don’t regret going.
