Luister naar de rustgevende geluiden van beukende golven en ritselende palmen wanneer je je terugtrekt in dit appartement aan de Golf in The Beach Club Resort & Spa in de prachtige Gulf Shores. Het Catalina-gebouw aan het strand biedt een ontspannen sfeer voor familieplezier en een speciale strandervaring direct aan de afgelegen witte zandstranden van het schiereiland Fort Morgan. Op het terrein van het resort zijn prachtige gedeelde voorzieningen zoals een zwembad beneden, meerdere clubhuiszwembaden, tennis- en basketbalvelden, een fitnesscentrum, een full-service spa en een prachtig stuk strand.

Dit afgelegen, 86 hectare grote resort ligt op het schiereiland Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores, met talloze wateractiviteiten - van surfen tot stand-up paddleboarding - op slechts een steenworp afstand. Golfers zullen slechts een mijl ten oosten van de Kiva Dunes golfbaan en zeven mijl ten westen van het schiereiland Golf & Racquet Club. The beach club is a terrific place to stay. The grounds are always immaculate and the sunsets were stunning every night!! Communication was poor before arriving (a few questions), but I found Vacasa to be quite attentive once on the property. Although this unit was sufficient for 4 adults, it really does need some deep cleaning and maintenance.

Gorgeous location for a wonderful condo

If you are looking for a condo with a beautiful beach, away from the hustle, bustle and commercialization of the other large, crowded beaches in the area, then this location is for you! This will Not be our last visit here! The condo was very clean when we arrived. The property grounds were immaculate. The pools are beautiful, especially at night. My only few complaints about the condo are as follows: 1) the beautiful upgraded condo would probably have gotten 5* except for the showers. Both need to be updated. Very little water pressure and master curtain won’t stay closed. Dingy showers from age I’m sure. Just takes away from the other upgrades. 2) only one kitchen towel. So if you cook like we do you will need to bring your own. 3) if you don’t like paper thin toilet tissue or paper towels bring your own also. 4) if you are under 5’7” bring a step stool to get on master bed. Very comfortable but extremely high off the ground. I had to slide off. Literally The balcony is awesome in this unit. Perfect view. Fantastic furniture. I would not hesitate to book again, especially if showers updated or even just replace shower heads and curtains that close correctly.

The most amazing view!

Love the view and the condo was clean. Easy to access the beach and only took a few minutes using the boardwalk. There was construction going on which would have been nice to know. But, it didn't keep us from enjoying our trip!

The great escape!

Such a wonderful and relaxing time! This condo was amazing! Very tasteful decor throughout that reminds you that the beach is very close. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and what a treat to wake up and see the gulf from your bed! Views of the beach and water from the huge balcony were wonderful… A great escape to relax! Thank you!

Our only issue was that we were not informed of the necessity to purchase a band to access the main pool and believe me this is a minor issue. Our accommodations were great and a property manager from Vacasa gave us a direct line for any needs. This was not our first time at the Beach Club and we will definitely be back.

Enjoyed our stay

We weren’t here long but it was enjoyable. I have never been to the beach club so the distance from the town to the condo was quite a long haul. And the stores close by were overpriced so I would definitely stop by a Walmart ahead of time. There are a few places to eat close by and the club has their own restaurants. The beach club itself is nice, I did not realize you had to have the spectrum pass for the gym area I got told that as soon as I walked up but the run around the condo was much more enjoyable. The condo is slightly behind the sand dunes so there is a longer pier walk and less beach view then what we are use to but it wasn’t bad, we actually enjoyed our view of the palm trees as well. The pool area was nice, plenty of seating and some shade as well. Everything seemed clean and fairly updated.

One of the Best Weekends EVER...

Four of us stayed in this unit for my youngest son's wedding. Everything was easy and perfect. I wouldn't change anything. I've never been to a destination wedding but now I'm sold. Everyone hung out and ran into each other the whole time. Also, our unit was great.

Rough Start . . .

The property was great - the grounds were very well landscaped and clean, proximity to the beach, great pools. My biggest issue was that people were still in our unit when it was time to check in. There was obviously a miscommunication on their check-out date. The property managers must have realized this when it was scheduled to be cleaned and had been trying to contact the current tenants. The renters were finally contacted and were scrambling to get out when we arrived. Vacasa should have called me and told me what was happening rather than let me walk in on the people. Needless to say, I was less than happy when I called them. They seemed surprised with the information I was telling them and were not offering any solutions, I only got an "Oh, my" on the phone. I had to ask for a cleaning crew to come immediately, which they did. It only took an hour to clean the 2 bedroom/2 bath unit and you could tell it was a rush job with the dirty underwear left on the floor. They never called back to make sure we were in or if it was cleaned properly (I received a survey by phone the next day). I had to ask for some sort of restitution for the delay of our vacation, which they finally offered to refund the cleaning fee. Let me just say that Vacasa's customer service was highly lacking that day! To be better than the competition, you have to do better. I don't think Vacasa will be my first choice in vacation rentals for future trips.

Wanna come back!

Everyone comes to the beach so they can awake to the sound of waves. With so many condos that's only possible if you get out of bed and walk clear around the condo to the beach side--or worse, you're promised an ocean view only to find that you have to stand on your balcony and lean over the railing to catch a glimpse between buildings! Here, the view (and sound) was all you could ever ask for, with the private balcony accessible from the living room or the master bedroom! The ocean view was great and the property itself well kept and attractively arranged with soft amber lighting making the area visible, but not harsh. I was immediately happy with the cleanliness of the property on both the exterior and interior. No sand disgraced the floors (Nice to feel we could actually walk barefoot inside!) One small item of clothing had been left in the dryer, but only a tall person would have found that, and I didn't count that as a negative. The apartment was attractively furnished, although someone a little too heavy may have spent some time on the sofa and loveseat. They are starting to sag a little, as did the floor of the bathtub--no problem. I took a shower. I loved that they didn't have thin, cheap flatware. If you like big cups of coffee, you might want to bring your own mugs, but if you don't mind refills, what they have is sufficient. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might want for normal cooking. I mean, I didn't see a wheat grinder or bread maker, but everything from pots and pans to colanders and pizza cutters, bowls, and utensils was there. Communication was superb. Within minutes of checking in, I received a text asking if I were satisfied with the cleanliness. I checked bathrooms, under beds, the fridge (which looked clean enough to have been brand new), the dishwasher and anything else I could think of before responding and could only say that it looked great. When I found the article of clothing in the dryer, I texted to let them know and their response was immediate. I LOVED that I didn't have to look around dozens of tall condos to see the sunset (or sun rise). The beach wasn't overcrowded. I didn't mind driving a little ways to go to a restaurant or grocery store. (We have those in central Alabama. I came for the beach.) I can't think of any real negatives. And the positives were very positive!

A great stay at The Beach Club!

The unit was exactly as described. Check-in and communication from the property manager was always easy and on time. This unit is in a great location with a good view of the pool and beach. We’ve stayed at The Beach Club a few times and it’s our favorite place in the Gukf Shores area!
