Vanaf het moment dat je binnenkomt, wordt je betoverd door het gezellige, cabingevoel van Bear Necessities. Omringd door het bos, heb je het gevoel afgelegen te zijn van alles, maar in werkelijkheid ben je slechts enkele minuten verwijderd van Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg - wat een prachtige rit is en geweldig zal zijn in de herfst!

Bear Necessities is net volledig gerenoveerd met nieuwe meubels en apparaten. Het is een hut met 4 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers voor 9 personen. Er is ook een extra kamer met een tafelvoetbaltafel en een futon. Het heeft een volledig gevulde keuken. Een badkamer heeft een jacuzzi. De veranda en leuningen zijn volledig vernieuwd om veilig en plezierig te zijn als een plek om te zitten en te ontspannen terwijl u buiten grilt na een leuke dag toeristen spelen in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg of wandelen in een nabijgelegen National Forest. Er is een picknicktafel en een kleine tafel en stoelen op de veranda.

Tijdens het dineren aan de grote, rustieke, houten tafel, zult u versteld staan van het omringende uitzicht van muur tot muur ramen met uitzicht op het bos.

Kies een van de 4 themakamers om in te slapen. Beneden: The Hibernation Station (de grote slaapkamer) heeft een queensize bed, een tv en een badkamer met 2 wastafels (een voor hem, een voor haar). De stal (stapelbed kamer) 2 slaapplaatsen met ingebouwde dressoir onder het bed en laden in de stappen om uw kleding te zetten om extra ruimte in de kamer toe te staan. Boven: The Bear Den heeft een groot bed met een uitschuifbed eronder om een kind te slapen en een tv. De wildernis heeft een groot bed. Er is een grote badkamer tussen de 2 slaapkamers. Beneden: The Great Outdoors (futonkamer) heeft een tafelvoetbaltafel.

De eerdere beoordelingen op deze site zijn afkomstig uit een oude hut die we hebben verkocht en ik weet niet hoe ik ze kwijt kan. Deze hut heeft geen uitzicht op de bergen, maar ligt in een prachtig bosrijk gebied. Als u vragen heeft, kunt u Kathryn bellen op 9852888037 voor meer informatie.

Location!

Perfect location. Perfect space. Ideal host. We enjoyed it so much we booked again for same time next year. Kathryn was great helping us check-in, communicating while we were there and even checking on how our DD's volleyball went. Our friends booked another unit in this complex after seeing and hearing about ours. Thank you for a great experience all around and being a great host. See you next year!

Fantastic Property with Amazing Location

Everything about this property was wonderful! The location can’t be beat! It’s on the beach and walking distance to a lot of stores, restaurants, and coffee shops. The property was very clean, kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils for cooking, comfortable beds, great balcony overlooking the ocean. The host/owner was super responsive before and during our stay.

It's always a gamble when booking a stay online . Is it really the location as advertised? Is it really as it appears in the pictures? This property is just as it appears! Right on the beach! Great views! Nicely decorated! Great rate especially for the location!! Excellent communication with the owner! We would definitely recommend and return ourselves in the future!

Great condo, great view!

The condo is very nicely decorated with comfy beds and everything you need. The balcony view is outstanding. We recommend the parking pass as you'd have to cross a busy road if you don't. Katherine was quick to respond. Very relaxing stay, thank you!

Beautiful view

View was beautiful. Condo is a little small , but we were fine I had to clean tubs before we could take baths, and wipe out frig. Something Red was spilled in it and not wiped. Tubs were very dirty with mold behind shower curtains. I dont blame owner for cleanliness, but her cleaning crew are taking her for a ride. Katherine was great and. Very understanding. Nice little condo

We stayed here for my moms 50th birthday. The condo was nice with great views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Parking was the only issue. They only allow one car to park on site. There is public parking across the street however it is not free. Thankfully, the we got off with a warning parking ticket. An actual parking ticket cost as much as the one parking pass to park on site of the condo.

Pictures Not Always Accurate

First of all, we never received the code for the front door. We had to reach out to the owner to get the code when we were in the parking lot of the condo. Secondly, the pictures online looked amazing. The actual property is a very dated, older condo. The ceilings are super low, popcorn, with big black spots poking through the paint. The king bed is in the guest room and there is a smaller bed in the master where the view is best. Finally, the cleanliness was awful. There were spills in the freezer and fridge. The oven was filthy. There was sand all over the floors. There was dog hair on the sheets. The coffee table had dust all over the bottom shelf. I dropped a cap to a bottle and moved the bedside table, there were dirty toothpicks underneath the table. There is a big mop bucket with dirty mop behind a bedside table in the guest room. There was mold and mildew in the tubs, especially in and around the faucets and hot and cold water adjusters. The coffee pot was filthy too. In my opinion, this condo needs a remodel and a DEEP clean. I didn't even want to shower there. The positives were that I had what I needed to cook-decent pots and pans and the beach was very close. I can get over the older building, but not the failure to properly clean the unit between users.
