Island Winds West ligt direct aan het strand in het hart van Gulf Shores en is de allereerste complex zie je bij het draaien op West Beach Boulevard. In feite is het de heetste ticket in de accommodatie voor alle lokale festivals zoals het is slechts 1 blok van de Hangout! De kloof voorzijde uitzicht op Island Winds West zijn ongeëvenaard plus je bent op loopafstand van restaurants, winkels en uitgaansgelegenheden, waardoor dit een ideale locatie voor reizigers van alle leeftijden.
Deze schattige 1 slaapkamer, 1 badkamer unit, is de Golf voorzijde en werd volledig gerenoveerd van boven naar beneden in de herfst van 2016. Dit toestel beschikt over een open concept en de slaapkamer is volledig open naar de gang. Zorg ervoor dat u profiteren van de extra slaapplaatsen capaciteit met de uittrekbare slaapbank in de woonkamer. Moe van uit eten gaan? Geen probleem, een verblijf in is een eitje met een vernieuwde volledig uitgeruste keuken. Dit toestel heeft ook een nieuwe wasmachine en droger, gratis WiFi, een fitnessruimte op het terrein, een golf front zwembad en een apart kinderbad?s zwembad. Beautiful location with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Pool was spotless and attendant was super friendly! Condo was clean and very comfortable. Only suggestions would be is that it could use a refreshment paint job especially the baseboards. And cleaning service could clean around the tub faucets a little bit better. There was mold but with a little soap and a paper towel, it was clean! Loved having a washer and dryer in our unit! Very nice appliances in the kitchen and very well stocked with all kitchen supplies needed!!! Would definitely rent this unit again!!

Great Location, Old but comfortable Condo

You can not beat this location if you are in Gulf Shores for Hangout/SIMB. It’s beachfront, and you have an amazing view of the gulf. There is parking and a pool on site. Two elevators for quick access to the unit. The interior of the unit is likely original to when it was built, everything still works and is functional. There are blackout curtains that do a pretty good job of getting the unit completely dark. There is plenty of seating in the living & dining area. The bed is a queen size but it’s the perfect amount of firm so you don’t roll into your partner. The AC, refrigerator, dishwasher & laundry all worked very well and I had zero issues. I would stay here again.

Shrimp Fest

The property was great, loved the gulf view. We had a very relaxing stay..... no problems. Attended the Shrimp Festival and had a fantastic time. Great food, vendors and live music.... awesome!

Best place to stay in Gulf Shores!!

I truly love this whole entire complex. We have stayed at 3+ different units and all of the property managers are great, the rooms are fantastic, and I literally think it is the perfect location. This was awesome!!! Can't wait to come back soon!

Not so clean

Overall not horrible however it really needed to be cleaned a lot better. We found several dirty dishes and silverware the shower curtain was not acceptable the living room chair is very stained and for what we paid I feel it could have been better. But we stayed out most of the time so it wasn’t horrible

Overall Appearance Needs TLC

We had issues the first night with the tv plug not reaching the outlet and the tv was mounted to the wall so we could not move the tv closer to the outlet. This was resolved the next day. Overall the cleanliness needs some help. The bathroom shower curtain hooks are completely rusted, a strange looking bug was in the shower the first night. The area rug in the living room that is in the VRBO pictures does not exist. Kitchen faucet is very loose. Overall I feel like it just need some TLC, it is a very cute condo just needs some care.

Such a great place to stay!

This condo was amazing!! The view was *chefs kiss* and in driving/walking distance of basically everything. We ate breakfast at a restaurant in orange beach one day and it was only 11 minutes away. Bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was a God send for more than 2 day stay so we had groceries and cooked a lot. Every kitchen utensil imaginable too. LOVED having a washer and dryer in the unit. Check in and check out was a breeze and Young’s was so easy to get ahold of for everything. Only downside I can think of is that the unit is right infront of the elevators. When people were coming/going we could hear every conversation while in bed. But we were never woken up in the middle of the night and had a 2 year old in bed with us and she was never bothered so it wasn’t that bad. I’ve already recommended this listing to so many friends who are looking into coming to Gulf Shores so if you are too I recommend snatching this one up!

Filthy and loud

Here's the nicest I can while being honest. First, communication was non existent. We went to the condo and tried to check in. Found out I had to go to their location to check in. So that was an hour of us just trying to get into our room. Once we got the code we went to our studio condo, which is right at the elevators, so that made it really loud since the window to the bedroom was facing them. Then I realized the sheets hadn't been changed. So I did that and noticed pee stains all over the mattress cover. Then I sat down and realized my feet were black. The floors were so nasty. So, I cleaned the floors. It looked outdated and everything was dusty. So I decided to shower since being there and cleaning it made me feel dirty, that's when I saw several long black hairs on shower walls (my husband and I are both without hair) then went to dry off with the "clean" towels only to find more hair all over the towel and it smelled bad. Then there it was...the pube! At this point I gave up trying to enjoy the condo. So we went to the balcony and the pretty white curtains were black on the bottom. The view from the balcony was nice. And the location of this complex is wonderful. But I'd rather having to walk more than stay here again. Oh and once you actually spoke to the staff they were nice. But that also didn't make my stay any better.

Clean but outdated

Wonderful location with a great view. We loved that we were only a few short feet from the beach and a short walk away from restaurants pr shopping. I wouldn't say this is the best condo for anyone with a toddler as the front door has no inside lock (could easily have opened and walked out), there was an open outlet, and knives were in drawers that were at a low level. If you are looking for high class, I also wouldn't say this is the place. Although everything was functional, there was an overall feel of needing updates.

Great place on the beach. Close to everything & had a great view. Could have been cleaned better & the tv in the bedroom didn’t work when we arrived. The manager tried really hard to get it fixed but had to wait a few days for the provider to bring a new box.

This was an awful experience

There was trash on balcony, sheets not tucked in on regular bed., and no sheets for the couch bed. There was a pillow with a pillow case that had been slept on with mascara on it. The pillows were so old, they were yellow. We had to go to Wal-Mart and buy 3 pillows, a comforter and sheets. I have asked for the cleaning fee money back or all of it and no one has returned the email.

Need to pay more attention to detail in cleaning

We love the property..the condo was nice but whoever cleans needs to pay more attention to detail..there was hair on the walls, dining table and on some linens. Maybe clean a little better. We still would come back just explain to cleaning company that nobody wants to see other people's hair floating around condo.

Amazing

My boyfriend and I just spent 3 days here and it was great. Awesome location, so many shops and places to eat within 5 minutes from us and it was right on the beach. It was a nice and clean place and it was a perfect size for me and my boyfriend. We had an amazing time. The o my thing was that I had to pay almost $30 for a parking pass. I figured it would’ve been included when we bought the condo or at least I wish I would’ve been notified that we also have to buy a parking pass. But all in all a great place, I’ll probably book this same location whenever we come again!!
