    Enjoy a Gulf Coast getaway at Plantation Palms, a beachfront building that sits down the Fort Morgan Peninsula in Gulf Shores! Whether it's lounging on the white sand, relaxing by the on-site pools and hot tub, or practicing your serve on the tennis court, you're sure to have a great time.



    In-home features include a fully equipped kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, free cable TV on a new smart-mounted TV and WiFi, and a private balcony with direct views of the Gulf of Mexico overlooking the pool area. Central air conditioning and a private washer/dryer round out the modern essentials.



    THINGS TO KNOW

    The parking fee for this vacation rental is $35. Instructions for purchasing the required parking pass will be included in your confirmation email.

    Only valid service animals will be allowed that are registered/checked-in with security at arrival, but if a service animal is causing an issue such as barking (other than a medical emergency), not on leash and properly controlled, seen as aggressive or approaching others, or defecating in any way in the common grounds areas, they will be evicted.

    The Palms building hot tub opens September 16 - May 14 and will be closed May 15 - September 15.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beach was beautiful, it wasn't crowded, and it was quiet. Amazing view! The only thing was that the condo was sparsely stalked. We had 4 people for a 4 night stay. Only 4 bath towels and 5 wash cloths. 1 kitchen hand towel. I'd say go, but brinh everything! If you think you won't need it, you will.

Comfortable getaway

This unit is on par with other units at this property. We've stayed in multiple units on the same property over the years...they all have dirty pots and pans, rusty kitchen tools, and lids and pots that don't match. I'm used to it by now. In general it was clean, functional (one of the back burners wasn't working), and fine for a low key getaway. You just make do and find your own groove around there. One of the elevators at the property was out of date on inspection and a little sporadic. As usual, there's no staff on the property that is easily found for inquiries like that. They are kind of on the down low. We made it just fine. I really liked having the in unit washer & dryer and table and chairs on the patio. Those were big help. I'd stay there again, it was good enough for a few days of R&R with the family.

Beach and pool area is so relaxing!

Love the private beach access and the pools are clean and we maintained. Condo building has some years on it but is fine for what it is. If the condo was my personal residence I’d do some upgrades with a few appliances, some furniture, and new life to the walls and cabinets. If I owned this condo and used it as a rental it would be fine as is. It has more space than the pictures show. Plenty of room for the family! Balcony view is hard to beat!

Accuracy of Listing

We were in town for a softball tournament and had specifically chosen this room because it had a washer and dryer in the room. When we went to use the washing machine, it was not functioning. It was too late to call anyone that evening but the next morning before I was able to call anyone, I received a phone call telling me that someone was coming out to look at the washing machine. Which means that it had been reported by a previous occupant that it was not functional and we were not made aware of this before or on arrival. Other than this, the room was very clean and perfect for our stay.

Fun Family Stay

The condo is nice, plenty of room for a family of four. The resort is guarded for security, which I liked. My family and I utilized the restaurants located at the Plantation resorts and the food was great. I would stay here again.

Gulf Shores Getaway

Booking process was easy and communication with Doug was a breeze. Location is fantastic as it’s not so crowded and the beach is beautiful. Condo had comfortable beds, great showers and a huge balcony with an amazing view. Thanks Doug for a wonderful stay.

Great Place to Relax

Our stay here was seamless. Everything was great. Since we cooked our meals in, we appreciated the wonderfully stocked kitchen. The condo was beautiful and super clean. The view from the balcony is amazing and so relaxing to have morning coffee sitting at the patio table. Our owner was super to work with and always kept us well informed. Thanks for a great vacation.

Perfect family friendly condo next to the beach

This property was exactly as listed. My senior parents down to my seven year old thoroughly enjoyed the space and amenities. Very close/easy beach access, deck patio was fantastic, plus the view was spot on. We enjoyed the on-site pools day and early evening. Close drive to Gulf Shores for grocery needs and we also enjoyed a day at Adventure Island which was a short drive to Orange Beach for the kiddo. And only ate out once (we cooked in the kitchen mostly) but The Sloop after Adventure Island provided great take out, and a fun bar food atmosphere while I waited for our food. There was construction every morning starting at 8am, and while not perfect it was understandable. And ended quickly. It won't be going on forever, so I suspect future visitors will hear it less and less. 100% what we expected and maybe better! We all had a great time. Would love to book again in the future and will definitely recommend to others!

Property and condo experience was excellent. Our family, ages 11,8,6,4,2, enjoyed the indoor pool on the one poor weather day and the outdoor pool and gulf shores during the magnificent days in early May.

Great Property Manager and Perfect Beach Access

We rented this condo for spring break with our teenage daughter who enjoys playing golf with her Dad. The condo was extremely clean and well appointed. It even included a great selection of novels for your beach read! There was some construction taking place on site, but Doug was the best to work everything out. He also suggested some golf courses and great places to eat! It was a short walk to the beach and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the waves at night. We hope to be able to return this summer!

Great Stay - Great Owners!

We were very impressed with the property and the condo owners. Everything was as advertised. The owners did a great job preparing the condo for us and giving us all of the information we needed for our trip. They were very friendly and made sure we were happy. I would give this all 5 stars but we can't fully rate the restaurant and some of the amenities as they were still under repair from last Fall's storms and unavailable during our stay. This condo at this resort and with this owner, will be our first choice on our next trip to the Gulf Shores area. We would highly recommend this to anyone.
