"Unplugged" is een schattig huis met drie slaapkamers en twee badkamers aan de lagune in het hart van Gulf Shores. Dit is een nieuw ingericht huis, dat de perfecte hoeveelheid van de oorspronkelijke rustieke strandhuisjescharme heeft bewaard om u te herinneren aan eenvoudigere dagen. Het zal je echt inspireren om te "ontkoppelen" en op te laden!

Dit ruime huis slaapt comfortabel 12 en is ideaal voor gezinnen of groepen. Het is zorgvuldig ontworpen met aangewezen, kindvriendelijke gebieden, compleet met een kinderbox en een kinderstoel voor uw gebruik. Het huis heeft een overdekte aanlegsteiger voor uw gebruik, ideaal voor een kleine boot of kajak. Onder het huis vindt u veel speelruimte, een overdekte amusementsruimte, compleet met een oude open vuursteenoven en een gloednieuw zandstrand! Ja, je eigen privéstrand! Daarnaast is er gloednieuw terrasmeubilair en een nieuwe buitendouche. Stel je voor zorgeloze nachten, buiten ontspannen bij zonsondergang, vissen vanaf de oever, terwijl je je eigen verse zeevruchten in de open vuuroven kookt.

"Unplugged" biedt de perfecte locatie, op slechts een korte wandeling over de straat van het strand en een korte ½ mijl van de hangout. Het is handig om te winkelen, dineren en entertainment. Als een bonus is het ook direct aan de overkant van Pier 33, de oudste winkel in Gulf Shores, die nog steeds door een familie wordt beheerd en beheerd..

Beautiful home!

We loved the beach area out back for the small kids to play in while the adults fished off the dock. We also loved how the kitchen was equipped to cook for a large family. And the location near Pier 33 was awesome. It was lovely being so close to the beach, although there is not Beach access until a couple blocks down the street. But we made it work. Overall stay was amazing!

So Fun!

Perfect house for us! We had kids from 6ths all the way to 17yo and they loved it. FYI bring your own seasoning. Also bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. We were provided with one roll of each and went through that quickly. Overall was a great stay.

Property is very unsafe!!!

I’m not real sure where to start. Not sure if I should be angry at Vrbo, Itrip,or the owners of this property. And none of the reviews or the description of this property did say anything about flooring that you had to step up or down. The drops in the floor were poorly marked Old rugs that needed to be replaced. We had to rearrange furniture. Friday night my sister-in-law fell. I contacted I trips and all they said is sorry we could call Maintenance out. On Friday, I talked to another employee of ITrip She expressed that she was very sorry but again didn’t offer any resolution. I even inquired about trying to get something documented on paper. They acted like that was not possible. Saturday after my sister went down to the pier and came back up the stairs and turned to the left. There was a drop off, she fell and hurt herself badly. I tried to call ITrip again and the first guy answered the phone so I hung up. I have been on the phone for a week from 30 minutes to 1 hour each call. Still not getting results. All they tell me is that it’s been expedited and the homeowner has been notified. Please do not book this property until repairs have been done. I’m not sure how you will know because in the description, it has nothing stating unlevel flooring throughout the house. The rugs were old and we had to move the furniture to make sure no one would trip over the rugs. I am very disappointed after seven years of booking through VRBO that we had to experience this.

Unplugged - The most beautiful green

A great bonus about Unplugged is that it comes with a high chair, pack and play and kids toys (for the beach and indoors) and books. There is even a kids play area with a pint-sized table and chairs. I can't overstate how helpful this was. I loved the layout of the common areas. The home is very large with multiple groupings of chairs and sitting areas. The dock along with the grill and picnic tables and swings, were so relaxing. The guys fished and fed fish to the herons who visited every day. The water provided a wonderful view. The 3-block walk to the beach was not too taxing. We rented a wagon to haul all of the beach chairs, umbrellas and cooler which were also rented locally. The kitchen was well organized and labeled, so cooking and cleaning up were were that much easier. My only complaint was the lack of supplies. I have stayed in quite a few vacation homes in several states and have never seen such a lack of basic supplies as I did here. ALL other places have provided a couple of rolls of t-paper (we only had 1 per bathroom), and other necessities such as plastic wrap, plastic baggies, aluminum foil, coffee filters, salt pepper. There was no liquid hand soap, only a few teeny bars, no cleaning sprays, etc. We spent a small fortune to purchase AND LEAVE BEHIND things the owner should have provided. We did have a few minor maintenance issues which were resolved immediately.

We had an awesome time. Relaxing and enjoyable. Mostly seniors 60+, two 31 year olds, and our 1 year old. Space was wonderful- clean, well kept, stocked, easily accessible. Gulf shores is so much fun. Would absolutely visit again!

Unplugged and loooost

We got here and got lost in laughs and fun! I wish we hard pictures to share but we left our phones behind. The pictures of this property just give you and idea, they don’t do this place justice. There was space to play in and out fully stocked with all the stuff that you’ll ever need in a kitchen!

Good location for walking to beach

The location was good. There was enough room for all 10 of us-5 adults and 5 children. The house could have been cleaned better and the appliances need updating. The dryer does not dry until after at least 2 cycles and the refrigerator was not very cold. The pans need to be gone thru because some of the cookie sheets are very rusty and need thrown away and replaced with new.

Loved!!

My family and I stayed at Unplugged, let me say we were very much impressed. The house had lots of room, very clean, decorated perfectly, and the location was amazing. A min from the beach and across the street from Pier 33, a local grocery/convenient store. I highly recommend checking out the Unplugged location for your next Gulf Shores, AL trip.

We’ve always stayed on the beach, but when I saw this property I thought I’d give it a try. Great location! Fishing and kayaking in the lagoon or walk across the street to the beach! Just take your time! I would stay here again!

Everything was great, the only suggestion I would have is to list the beds on the details. The listing does say that it sleeps 12 and it did sleep 12 but we did have a couple of guys that had to double up in the beds.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this property. There was a minor hiccup where the power went out, briefly (twice); however, it was quickly restored. The house is much larger in-person. Overall, would book this space again.

Needs new management

The property looks amazing online but in person it’s older looking than expected. Immediately as we walked in we noticed the blinds were broken on both screen doors in the living room. Outside furniture is totally different. We even had to buy batteries for the living room cable remote that wasn’t working and it still didn’t work. We asked for batteries and were told someone would drop some off but no one ever did. Aside from that we enjoyed our 2 days there. My questions were answered in timely manners and very nicely. We booked 5 nights but unfortunately had to leave early due to the 2 storms Marco and Laura. Our drive home was in the path of the storms and for the safety of our family we had to head back home. When we let the property know we had to cut our trip short due to the storms, they replied with “thanks for letting us know, we’ll alert the cleaning crew.” I was really surprised by their response after they had been so nice before. We did purchase the cancellation protection through VRBO which I didn’t know there was even a difference at the time, I found out later from the property manager that we could have bought cancellation protection through them but thats not made clear when you make your initial payment so be careful there. Because these protections have such slick guidelines for what is covered, our circumstances were not covered, so we basically had to throw away 2 full days of our money. I asked the property if they offer any kind of refunds or credits in this kind of situation because I would 100% stay with them again if we were shown a little grace and understanding towards our situation. We even added a day to our already paid trip because we were afraid of ending the fun too soon. The property manager did come back and offered us 10% discount towards a future stay which I don’t agree with, we lost way more than that. I’ve emailed the property mgr back but I still haven’t heard from them. Not only were we super disappointed that our vacation that we saved up for was cut short due to the storms but the lack of compassion shown has confirmed we will not book with this company again. We do plan on visiting Gulf Shores in the future and with more family.

Great location and roomy house

Had a great stay at this house in Gulf Shores. Plenty of room, nice accommodations, nice outdoor area to sit and relax and enjoy the water. Fairly close to the beach… Under five minute walk. Close to restaurants, ice cream shops and other retail locations
