This stylish and spacious home is located in a neighborhood of Gummersbach that is close to nature yet centrally located.

Spanning approximately 150 square meters, the first floor features a spacious living room with a dining area, a bedroom with a double bed and a separate bathroom (with a tub), as well as a guest restroom and a fully equipped kitchen. These rooms are accessed via a beautiful entryway. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms, each with a bed; upon request, an extra mattress can be added to each or a crib can be set up. Both upper bedrooms have their own bathroom (with a shower). Another bedroom with a single bed is located in the basement, where there is an additional private restroom with a sink.
The house has a beautiful, large covered terrace that faces south and is sheltered from wind and rain on two sides, so you can sit there comfortably even in “bad weather.” Here you’ll find a comfortable upholstered seating area, two lounge chairs, and a grill. In the lovely garden, there’s another small terrace behind the house, as well as a large, southwest-facing balcony with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and houses.
From all rooms, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the lovely, green Oberbergisch countryside.

Gummersbach, the county seat of Oberberg, is about 2 km from the accommodation and is therefore easily accessible on foot. In the county seat of Gummersbach, with its charming half-timbered houses, you’ll find a variety of shopping options, excellent dining, and a vibrant cultural scene.
Numerous reservoirs in the Oberberg region are perfect for swimming or boat trips (e.g., the Bruchertal Reservoir or the Aggertal Reservoir). The well-known open-air museum and the Metabolon in Lindlar are about 13 km away. The bird park in Eckenhagen and Panarbora near Nümbrecht are also lovely destinations for day trips in the area. The Sauerland region is also not far from here.
Cologne and Bonn are easily accessible in less than an hour via the A4 highway on-ramp. Düsseldorf, Wipperfürth, and Wuppertal are also great options for a day trip. Cologne is also well connected to Gummersbach via the regularly scheduled “City-Bahn.”

From here, you can explore numerous peaceful trails through deciduous and coniferous forests, meadows, and rural villages.
You can also reach numerous reservoirs in the Oberberg region, and the major cities of Cologne and Bonn are less than an hour away via good access to the highway or by train (City-Bahn).
