'A wonderful stay, friendly staff, comfortable clean room with very large bed. Amazing breakfasts and evening food. Safe parking and lovely location. Only minor issue was it was advertised on Expedia as separate shower and bath when in fact it was shower over bath. Thank you for looking after us.'

'The room was exceptionally spacious and full of character. Many hotels are a bit soulless but this is far from the case here. The staff were professional, friendly and always with a smile. I've seen a few reviews have commented on 'hidden charges' - breakfast isn't included but this is clear from the very start and there's no pressure to eat here in the morning. If you do, however, the food is excellent (we had dinner) and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.'

'Our stay was wonderful despite the weather. Fabulous spot for the beach and dog walking. Cannot recall a friendlier staff not just to us but to our canine companion who was very nervous of other dogs but was given unstinting patience and attention. Parking excellent. Food was delicious if over-generous in portions!'

'Another really good stay at The Harper. First class service from all the staff where nothing was too much trouble. Private use of the pool works really well and they have clearly thought about everything. The food options are very good and breakfast is excellent. Parking is also ample which is not always the case in North Norfolk and takes the stress out of the holiday especially if you are traveling with children. '
