'WARNING: HOTEL UNDER RECONSTRUCTION! This text should be clearly shown on all websites advertising this hotel instead of the current hidden notes (which we either did not notice or were not there when we booked). The hotel is undergoing a serious reconstruction which is nowhere near finish and the swimming pool is closed for safety reasons. 'The reception guest attendent and owner were very helpful and guided a lot to make the whole experience of Andaman good. The rooms were clean and good after being upgraded. One of the good hotels to stay at Andaman looking for cheap and best options. Food quality was also best and cost effective with outside rates. A big thumbs up for the same. '

'Our second time at the Bay Leaf on our trip to the Andaman Islands.
We found the BL to be a modern well run hotel and a good central location.
We stayed in two types of rooms we found both to be of a good standard.
Eg: comfortable beds, clean well maintained bathrooms and good AC/Fans.
The rooftop restaurant /Bar is a nice place to eat dinner or enjoy a cocktail overlooking Port Blair, once again we found the level of service excellent.
Probably the best accommodation we have found on this...
