'Het is prachtige omgeving midden in de natuur en met een fantastisch uitzicht op de berg Kilimanjaro. Prijverhouding per nacht versus de kwaliteit van de kamers vonden wij niet in verhouding staan. Echter kan ik deze accommodatie wel aanraden. Super vriendelijk personeel die enorm hard hun best doen om het jou zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Het bed is prima en zo ook het eten. Transfer naar het vliegveld was ook prima geregeld en de chauffeur was ruim op tijd. Tevens hadden ze de koffie en...

'I had a wonderful stay. The staff were endlessly courteous, friendly and helpful. The location in the middle of Moshe was great. It is a great location for walking around the town. The roof top bar was a joy to sit at and see the sunset and mount kilimanjaro. The food was delicious and beautifully served '

'I stayed one night upon arrival to Moshi. I was warmly greeted late at night. Check in was super easy. They take a copy of your passport. My room - even though I’d booked a single - was much larger and had a double & single beds. Room was clean and tidy with enough plugs for charging your gadgets. There were toiletries including toothbrushes, soap, shampoo & lotion. Breakfast was included and I even got a nice chef-made omelette. They have a nice sitting area by the pool or you can sit inside....

'Van ophalen van de luchthaven en weer terug een feestje. Hartelijk ontvangst zowel op de luchthaven als bij accommodatie. Zalig en heerlijk groot bed. Water. Koelkast gevuld met bier en frisdranken nog meer water. Dit tegen betaling maar keurige prijzen. Ontbijt is een geweldige start van de dag. Heerlijke pannenkoeken en fruit, brood eieren. Verse juice. En de meest gastvrije kokkin die ik ooit heb mogen ontmoeten. '

'really nice resort place to stay around kilimanjaro area. Every nice room and garden, 25 hours warm water for shower. Food is good and local and western options. Staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely need to check out this place when you come to kilimanjaro area for a relaxing stay.'

'I really enjoyed spending time at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and wonderful people to be around. The staff made sure that I had a shuttle to go around town and a safe way to get there, had a secure place to store the remaining luggage, and they made delicious food for breakfast and at the restaurant. I would highly recommend to stay at the Stella Maris Lodge.'

'The garden area felt like a little slice of paradise with bunnies running around freely helping to maintain the grass - as well as donkeys. Monkeys were climbing in the trees, and occasionally a large turtle would cross the lawn. The place itself was very calming and the staff sweet and helpful.'

'This place is gorgeous! Staff is amazing, beautiful rooms, great food. Trust the process of getting there. The road in is a little discouraging, but you’ll be so happy when you arrive. Highly recommend for a nearby airport stay. '

'Excellent value for price. Stayed with wife and two kids. All enjoyed. It was a fun experience. It is a hostel so keep that in mind, but clean, very friendly, and food was really tasty. Would stay there again.'

'Rigtig hyggeligt hotel, med en god historie, retro look. Rent og fint. God traditionel mad, i rigelige portioner. Fantastisk beliggenhed med flotte udsigter. '
