'What a magical lakehouse! We couldn’t call it a cottage as it is far too nice for that. When we arrived we marvelled at the size and comfort of the space. The photos really don’t do justice to how spacious, bright and beautiful the house is, indoors and out. There are expansive windows facing the lake, well planned upstairs and downstairs lounges, sunbeds, docks and massive deck with a beautiful lake view. And more!!Two docks provide morning sun and one for the afternoon light! A cozy and cool...

'We had an amazing time. The cottage was perfect for a young family and there was lots to enjoy. It was relaxing, we loved using the canoe and lounging on the nice deck! Andre was a great communicator and we appreciated that he went above and beyond in helping us retrieve something we left behind. Definitely recommend!'

'Loved this cottage. The lake is beautiful, water is nice enough for swimming and we had lots of fishing , kayaking and paddle board fun! Beautiful sunsets. Cozy cottage with lots of extra blankets which we loved. Nice and clean. Love the screened in porch for morning coffee and just to sit and listen to the water. Thank you so much. '

'Came with a few friends and my dog. We had a great stay! It was exactly what we were looking for - something remote and rustic. Still had everything we needed - working wifi, an (outdoor) shower with warm water, a clean outhouse, a lovely dock on the water, plenty of firewood, and close enough to town. The views are amazing. Laurie and Kevin were super helpful and communicative.'

'This property a great choice for a nice getaway with group of friends or with your family. It offers ample space and an excellent sized kitchen for cooking, and plenty of kitchen accessories and supplies for your cooking needs. Being by the lake was the highlight of this property. They had kayaks and a canoe for use. Would come back again ! '

'What a gorgeous place to stay. Everything we needed was provided from towels, to soap, to cookeware and an excellent amount of pillows. 'This suite was very clean and roomy in a nice, quiet neighbourhood. Phyllis was flexible with check in and made the check in/out process incredibly easy. There is a full kitchen that is well-stocked with dishes and extra appliances. It has a beautiful backyard and patio backing on to green space. The owners live in the house, but the entrance to the suite is completely private. We heard minimal noise a couple times from them upstairs during our stay. '

'The trailer was older but fully functional. Heat and fans for temperature control. There was lots of space to park and set up tents, the kitchen sink and stove worked well and the bbq was very helpful. The space was very nice with trails, canoeing, and the full camping experience. Great private quiet spot in the valley! Thanks Josh and family! '

'We were with a party of 5 and booked a 2 bedroom appartment at Silver Springs Cottage. We were very excited to go there, and our stay was ok, but the rooms were very small and we did not have much space to walk around. The cleanliness of the rooms could have been a little better aswell. '

'I recently visited this property during the Canada Day long weekend and I’m in awe of the view and the hospitality Brett and Jane had to offer. This was a relaxing trip for us and we just wanted to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. This spot is also great for people who like water sports, canoeing etc. The cottage is newly renovated and located at the Haliburton lake. The only downside was no mobile network coverage or Wifi connection(which they will have fixed soon). Since we were...

'The hosts were fantastic, offering to meet me and describe the area and amenities, or to leave the keys in a secure lockbox and let me explore on my own. The property is well setup with the main house, a bunkie, a wood shed, a covered BBQ/game area, as well as a large firepit and a garden with seating for conversation.
