'We had an amazing time here. The hotel is beautiful and everyone was so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great. The view was nice. It’s quiet. They have lots of games and there are some nice hikes nearby. Do yourself a favour and stay here!'

'There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.'

The accommodation seems like a detention center for travelers. You're completely on your own; you won't see anyone from the facility. If anything happens, you have a phone number.
You had to take care of your own breakfast. There was instant coffee and tea, and ready-made porridge that you could make yourself. Even at an additional cost, no real breakfast was available
The rooms are not made up.
Upon request, a towel change was possible, but not on Weekends. On Monday the towels were changed. But our overflowing wastebasket was then simply ignored. "

We were greeted politely at check-in. The hotel room was equipped with various amenities, a good bed with clean bedding. Large TV with play station. Well maintained and clean. Breakfast was neat, with various options, but mainly focused on the English breakfast. We received compensation after the breakfast was incomplete, neatly arranged! Close to all the beautiful things to see in Edinburgh, public transport nearby. The only disadvantage was the very noisy 6-sisters, loud music."

Ontbijt was ruim in keuze en men kan hier tegen betaling ook lunchen en dineren.Dit hotel kan ik echt aanraden voor degenen die het niet erg vindt om wat verder ( 18 minuten met de bus of 12 minuten met de taxi ) van het centrum te verblijven. Wij gaan zeker terug en zullen weer dit hotel kiezen "

"On average very good! The rooms are a bit on the older side but cozy nonetheless, the only thing that really needs to go is the carpet and the bed could do with some new matresses. Housekeeping could come by a little more often to check for toilet paper etc. The breakfast is really good! And the staff was absolutely lovely! There was a wedding as we were staying there but we didn't have any problems with the noise. Granted, if you are a light sleeper this maybe isn't the hotel for you but it really wasn't that bad as some make it out to be. The life music in the pub eas actually very nice. The location of the Hotel is perfect! The bus stopped right infront of the Hotel and almost every bus went to Edinburgh centre within 20min, also late at night. The small harbour is just a 5min walk from the hotel and down the street there is another nice pub as well. We very much enjoyed our stay. "
