Nice bungalows in an excellent location

The location is excellent, close to the main street with banks, supermarkets and tour operators, as well as the oceanside restaurants and bars (right next door to our favourite coffee and breakfast place "Polynesia Coffee and Tea"), but still very quiet at night and in the morning. The room got rather too hot during the day, but in the evenings with the help of the small fan available it's fine. Wi-Fi was unfortunately not available in the bungalow itself, but it's available in the common Wi-Fi-zone deck area next to the reception. Free airport pickup worked fine, even though we booked only last minute. And we really appreciated the cold watermelon juice welcome drink to sip on our patio overlooking the ocean. We didn't use the kitchen facilities, but they looked adequate. We would stay here again!

Accueil agréable et disponible pour toutes demandes. Nous avions choisi un bungalow un peu plus grand et plus cher. Il s'avère qu'il est collé à la rue et que tous les passants ont une vue panoramique rapprochée sur la chambre. De plus le ventilateur annoncé mesure 20 cm de diamètre donc très insuffisant compte tenu de la chaleur et de l'orientation plein soleil. Dernier détail la chambre n'a pas été faite pendant 2 jours.

Great location, outstanding management!

The two best things that make this place great is the location and the manager Rene. The hotel is right next to a restaurant called the "Polynesian Coffee and Bar" which has the best coffee and breakfast on the Island! Also Rene (manager) is an American and speaks prefect English so if your Spanish isnt the best then this is the palce to stay so he can give you advice on where to go and how to get there. On to the rooms. I went to Easter Island with my brother and we consider ourselves explorers/backpackers so we decided to get an economy cabin since we only needed beds and a roof. They do however offer upgraded cabins with some really nice ocean views in case you are on a vacation with the misses. When you book your stay send Rene (or his staff) a message to let them know what you prefer--economy or an upgraded cabin. Last but no least Internet access. Easter Island is one of the most remote islands in the world so Internet access and cell phone reception is limited! The hotel has a WiFi patio area that is cozy and works great but you will have to leave your room and walk to the patio. This is comon for most hotels in Easter Island because as I already mentioned--it is one of the most remote islands in the world! Easter island is still a place for adventurers and explorers so show up ready to put your social media life on hold to soak up a once in a lifetime experience.

Not as advertised, but generally good.

The cabins are generally good. The room was very clean and nice. The host was very kind and accommodating. The cabins are in a great location near the main drag and within walking distance of many of the main sights. Overall we were a bit disappointed. Originally when we booked the listing said that free WiFi was available. This was not true and the listing was later edited to say that it was offered in a public hotspot. Not only couldn't we find this hotspot, but the fact the hotel can edit their listing without offering compensation or cancellation is a big red flag for us. Some items or amenities that other travelers desire may get removed with no notice after booking. Also, the listing says that self-serve laundry is available, again this is not true, there are no machines at all. The communication with the hotel staff was virtually non existent up to the booking. I tried Whatsapp, Facebook and email, for half a week, however it wasn't until the last night (at about 10pm!) they finally confirmed that they would pick us up from the airport. The worst was that there is some construction happening outside the cabins. The construction is by the cabin owners, and looks like they are changing their plumbing. The work looks very slow, and sitting on the balcony watching concrete being poured might be nice for some, it was not nice for us. The family also seems to use the outside area as their playground, so there is no privacy or quiet at all.

送迎を依頼していないのに花のレイを用意し、車でお迎えしていただきました。レセプションの対応も感じよく、バンガローはコンパクトながら、清潔で整っていて、特にかわいいキッチンにテンションがあがりました。日本からお米を持参して毎日ご飯をたいて、モアイと一緒におにぎりを 食べました。レンタカーやレストラン手配も気軽にしていただきました。テラスにロープをはり、 洗濯物がたくさん干せます。まるで暮らしているような感じでした。

Bungalows charmants en face de l'océan.

Les bungalows se trouvent en face de l'océan à proximité du centre de Hanga Roa. Une petite kitchenette et une petite terrasse. Le lieu est simple mais agréable à l'image de l'île. Pas de plage à proximité mais c'est le cas de la plupart des hôtels. Le personnel est à l'écoute et attentionné.

The bungalows were ideally located and close to the ocean and the town. The owners were warm and friendly and were prompt in picking us up at the airport and taking us to our lodging. Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed our visit to Rapa Nui!

we stayed this hotel for 4 night. The hospitality of the receptionist is great. He helped us a lot and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is also good. Very close to sea and nice view from the room. We will choose this hotel for the next time for sure.

Antes que nada muchisimas gracias por todo la pase muy bien sobre todo personaje del hotel, no tuve ningun problema. Tal vez los turistas tienen que entender la situacion de una isla tan lejos del continente para no haber quejas ni enojas. Quisiera regresar a la isla de pasqua con el collar que me dieron pero quizas sera dificil... Maululu Moai!

My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights at the property. Pick-up at the airport was on time, typical crown of flowers included, and afterwards we received a mini city tour around Hanga Roa. We were upgraded to a cabin with partial ocean views due to works in front of ours, so we started off very well. Location is excellent: close to "city center" but still away from all noise. Our cabin was fully equiped and the bed was very comfy. Shower always had hot water and towels were refreshed daily. Kitchen had all needed amenities. Staff was always very friendly and profesional, for instance during a complete black-out they came round checking on us and provided an emergency torch. Kuddos to the cleaning lady, who daily tidied and cleaned up the cabin. Check-out and transfer to the airport was OK as well. We recommend "Te Ngahu" and we would definitely pick it again if we return to the island.

We had Hau #1 bungalow. The "beach" across the street isn't really a traditional beach: It's a lava outflow with no actual beach. That said, the ocean view was very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious, with a small kitchen and fridge (we didn't use the kitchen though, just the fridge). The staff was very helpful in arranging our island tour. The lodge is only a 5 minute walk from the central part of Hanga Roa. When you confirm the email from the lodging as to your arrival day/time to the airport, don't expect a response, and expect them to be there: We just decided to walk the mile and a half from the airport to the lodge and missed our ride. Overall a very nice experience!

Perfect location with friendly staffs

The location is perfect. 5mins walk to the main street and to the beach. Staffs are extremely friendly. In overall we are happy with our stay.

A good pick for our trip this time!

My husband and I Love Te Ngahu very very much, the environment was very nice around and also inside the room. With the little balcony facing the sea side with the lawn that giving our entire stay in Easter Island a fantastic one. Highly recommend to those who like to have self cooking holiday too, as the kitchen is so nice and clean.

Un séjour génial dans un endroit de rêve...

Très bien situé, avec vue sur mer et à proximité immédiate de la plage, des commerces, des restaurants. L'appartement était très bien équipé et confortable, avec vue sur mer. Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants et aux petits soins dès notre arrivée à l'aéroport et tout le long de notre séjour de 4 nuits. On se sent rapidement comme à la maison, et on n'a pas envie de quitter cet endroit magique... Merci à toute l'équipe pour votre gentillesse !

Great location in Hanga Roa walking distance to everything. Comfortable rooms with full kitchen and dining area for self prepared meals if so desired. Nice view of the water from the balcony at least from room number 5 where we stayed. Very comfortable rooms. Has no A/C, but the fan was all that was needed in the evening for a comfortable nights sleep. Excellent!
