'Loved it'

'When you arrive at this property you simply don’t want to leave! The cabin has the most special and unique feel to it with quality furnishings and appliances and the bath outside on the deck is spectacular (even in the rain!) We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! With no tv or wifi it was a great place to get lost in the serenity and away from the hustle and bustle of life and technology. This was one of our highlight stays in our 16 day tour...

'Te Mahuru Tetreat is a jewel in Kaikoura’s crown. A perfect location, easy to get to and not far out of Kaikōura itself. The accommodation provides a high standard of facilities and is immaculate. It provided everything we need for our stay and the use of the hot tub and do some star gazing is phenomenal - a must if you are staying at Te Mahuru Retreat. 'An old "dog friendly" cottage that has been modernized with double glazed windows, heat pump, new appliances (fridge, microwave, stove, tv ....). Very comfortable stay. It is opposite the boat launch and they launch boats from 4:00 am so take some earplugs. Good value for money.'
