100 jaar oude historische hut in Good Hart / Tunnel of Trees Private Beach Access!

Deze prachtige 100 jaar oude hut in Good Hart met privétoegang tot het strand langs de Tunnel of Trees ligt op loopafstand van Good Hart. Het ligt aan de M-119, op slechts 20 minuten ten noorden van Harbor Springs en op 10 minuten ten noorden ligt Cross Village / Legs Inn. Dit is een perfecte plek om er even helemaal tussenuit te zijn, of je nu een herfsttour wilt doen, wilt skiën, motorrijden, of alle prachtige stranden van dit gebied wilt bereiken. Dit is een prachtige plek om herinneringen aan Northern Michigan te maken!

** Let op: deze hut heeft geen wifi of gsm-service (er is service op 5 minuten lopen langs de weg in de stad Good Hart) omdat wanneer u in de hut bent, het tijd is om echt los te koppelen! Het privéstrand ligt op 10 minuten lopen of 2 minuten rijden met de auto en is een van de mooiste stranden in de omgeving! **

This cabin left us feeling incredibly lucky and humbled to be a part of it for a couple of days. This felt like a pleasant weekend with your most cherished family members and for me it reminds me of my grandmother’s house whom I was fond of. From the family scenery and history, to the animals that call that cabin part of their home/routine. I hope we were able to treat this cabin as well as they treated us.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The hosts were gracious and helpful, and little touches for guests were very nice. The cabin is as advertised and the photos are accurate. The area is beautiful and very quiet.The wildlife activity around the cabin was a daily treat for us. We recommend highly this cabin in the woods!

A beautiful cabin home that was a wonderful place to spend a week relaxing "off the grid". Close to beach on Lake Michigan and Good Hart General Store. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, everything you need in this lovely home. We will definitely return!

Possibly the most magical place in Michigan. It's full of character and charm ( and I imagine the same can be said about the hosts). From the art on the walls to the books on the tables, everything felt so right and perfect while also making us feel right at home. And if you forgot about something (beach blanket/toothpaste/etc.) don't worry, because they've literally thought of it all and left it exactly where you'd expect to find. It's super close to the beach and riding a bike/walking down to the general store makes you feel like you're in a coming-of-age summer movie. I can't wait to go back and I can't say enough about how truly special it feels and the level of thoughtfulness provided by the hosts. They even have marshmallows specifically for the raccoon. What more could you ask for?

The cabin is one of two of the oldest in Good Hart. Lovely, just perfect in every way. From the setting, the beautifully decorated cabin, the wild life was an enjoyable show every night. Just out standing.

Our trip to the cabin was exactly what we needed. It reminded me of my grandmothers cabin from my upbringing. All of the thoughtfully placed warm lit lamps, a century of artwork on the walls of every room, a vintage record player were some of the unique features that made this cabin so special. The ambiance in the evenings was magical. We also had the pleasure of watching the herd of deer come down to eat on the property. We would love to come back again!

We loved staying here! The cabin is very well stocked with everything that we needed. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped and we were able to use it to cook every day we stayed there with no troubles. It is just a short 2 minute drive to the private beach but it is a bit difficult to swim due to the larger rocks about 20 feet into the water. Very clean and very lovely. We will definitely be coming back!

We loved the cabin in the woods!! Thebes was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. There was lots of thought put into this cabin and it shows great for little and big gatherings!

We loved our stay in your awesome cabin. The week we chose in October was peak for the colors in the Tunnel of Trees. The rain did not dampen our spirits....lol

The cabin sits about 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Lake Michigan (access to GHBA beach). You are surrounded by trees and wildlife at the cabin. The house had plenty of pans and cooking utensils to cook with, wood to build a fire in fireplace and bathroom necessities. Good Hart General store is close by. We enjoyed feeding chipmunks and playing games by the fire. We drove up to Cross Village and ate at Legs Inn...a must do for polish food and unique atmosphere! Pond Hill Farm was a fun stop between Harbor Springs and Good Hart! There really is very little phone signal and no Wifi so be prepared.

Great place to stay if you want to unplug and be off the grid. It’s quiet, peaceful and the wildlife is close by. If you’re prepared for virtually no cell service, it’s doable. We simply drove a few minutes up the road to check in and get cell service. The locals are very friendly and most helpful. You can drive to a private beach area. Harbor Springs is close, too. Nice place to be in the summer.
