BIg Bass Spring Break
Absolutely perfect for our spring fishing trip. Had everything needed. Very comfortable inside and out. Great deck overlooking the lake. We highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

Super place
Great location. Place had absolutely everything we needed. Owner even stopped in first day to bring us firewood and new coffee maker. Property has plenty of room to keep 2 boat trailers. Highly recommended.

Great spot with a beautiful view.
Main reason for trip was to fish with grandson. He is 11 and fished for 4 days. Weather was not ideal so fishing was slow. Finally on our last stay he started catching fish. The joy on his face made the whole trip worth it.

Quiet and Inviting Property
Second time staying at this property and the consistency of cleanliness, quietness, and comfortableness remained the same. Great location to unwind, take in nature, do some fishing, enjoy the sunset by the fire. Exactly how described, very clean and air quality good - heat and air work great and not loud, good water pressure and plenty of linens and towels 3 season room an added lovely bonus for reading, napping, or bird watching Amazing host thank you and can’t wait to stay here again! Highly recommended you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing Lake house
The lake house was perfect for a girls getaway. The view from the house was incredible. The house had everything we needed. We can't stop talking about how much we enjoyed our fall getaway at the lake!

One of the best rentals on VRBO.
One of the best, cleanest, places on VFBO. Well stocked with everything and more you could ask for. Owner more than willing to help with any problems. (Like figuring out how to lock the electronic lock.) This property is also handicapped friendly. Able to get a wheelchair in and out the door to the car and back. Thanks for everything!

Peace and Tranquility
Barts Lakefront Cabin is the BEST! Our second stay here…can’t wait until next year! Super clean, convenient location but secluded and quiet! Sunrise coffee on the deck, fishing off the dock, fireside evenings! Couldn’t be any better!! Our tv NEVER was on as we spent all of our time enjoying outside! Even nicer than the listing and Bart is a great host always available with quick responses if needed. Don’t hesitate to book this!

Personal Retreat
This property is at a great location & the house was AWESOME! This place is a personal retreat. We enjoyed the days even when the weather forced us to stay at the house. The outdoor swing & hammock made our mornings relaxing and calm. The dock provided a great place to fish and to park the rented pontoon boat as we stopped in for lunch! The open deck in the back had lots of seating and was great to hang out on when friends stopped by. Inside was just as relaxing. The cozy enclosed patio was perfect for escaping the mosquitoes. The extra frig was over the top!!! We really appreciated it along with refillable ice trays! Very handy! There were 4 of us and the 2 bedrooms & 2 baths were perfect! Those are just a few things we loved about this personal retreat. We look forward to coming back!

Incredible view and cozy cabin!
The lake view is amazing day or night! The property is tucked away on a quiet no-outlet road which was incredibly peaceful. The cabin is as described, very clean, and well stocked. Fun for the kids and a relaxing time for me and my wife. The pictures on the listing do not do this property justice! Wonderful place, with an amazing view, and a cozy cabin!

Great stay and availability to the lake. Just a few wants for next time. Ladder on boat dock. Hard to swim on dock and get out without one. Air vents need a good cleaning out. Over all a great stay for us. Kitchen well stocked. The beds need a replacement thought not to our liking.

Beautiful property and location! The boat lift and dock was definitely a bonus. If we come back to Kentucky Lake we will definitely stay here again it had everything we needed. Only thing that could be an improvement is the master bed was very squeaky when rolling over and the sheets didn’t seem to stay on.

Guys trip
The last couple years me and 2 military buddies had made it a point to get together 1 week a year since we live states apart. This year we came to this lake house on Kentucky Lake and it was great. We had a blast fishing and catching up and definitely plan to come back here again.

Second time booking! :)
We enjoyed our stay. We took our boat for fishing and tubing. The Jonathan Creek area was pretty calm and quiet for both. The boat ramp is about 5 minutes away and easy to get to. There is a Dollar General minutes up the road. The house is clean. It has a dishwasher, washer and dryer and everything you need to feel at home. We have stayed twice now and had great experiences both times. Highly recommend.

Place was nice, orderly. Needs some pads on legs of kitchen chairs, kinda noisy when moving chairs and sheets om master bed (king) wouldn't stay on. That bed was noisy just turning over. All else was ok. Highly recommend this for a great place and view of Kentucky Lake.

Our getaway after 3 years of illness.
Wonderful property, great neighborhood, very quiet just what we needed. The only thing that we noticed was the exterior was not kept as well as the interior. Amazing Property to Relax and Recharge!
Super clean place? check Comfy beds and good water pressure? check Description / pics match the actual place? check Outside grill is clean and usable? check Amazing views of the lake and surrounding area? check and check! We found Bart's place to be inviting, cozy, clean, tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities needed and more. If you have a boat, the dock (with electricity!) was perfect coverage, space, and convenience. It’s even great just to fish off the dock directly! Days were filled with relaxation in the three season room or on the spacious deck, fishing from the dock, and enjoying the quietness of nature. Nights were filled with drinks by the firepit enjoying the sunset, grilling and eating the catch of the day, and getting a restful night’s sleep. Perfect place to unwind and recharge! All amenities listed were included, there were plenty of towels, linens, kitchenware, etc. The couple of towns nearby were great for grocery shopping, eating out, going to a car show, or shopping. We will definitely visit again - thank you so much Bart for all your hospitality and kindness!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, The location is amazing and the views of the lake are spectacular. In fact, we did not turn on the TV for 4 days!!! The house was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. It will be the first place I check on next trip we take to the lake.

Great Stay by the Lake!
This cabin was perfect for our family of four! Great views of the lake, plenty of room for us, and we appreciate being able to use the covered boat slips. Very clean and stocked with the essentials which we used for grilling and cooking. We're looking forward to another stay in the future when it's a bit warmer, so that we can use the fire pit, four seasons porch, deck, and the Adirondack chairs outside!

Great Weekend!!
Let me tell you! The pictures do not do this cabin justice! We absolutely loved this property!! Everything was very detailed oriented & well stocked. It was a rainy weekend but it didn’t matter to us. We got in a little fishing between showers & took a short drive over to Lone Oak (Paducah) to visit the Purple Toad Winery. We are looking forward to coming back rain or shine!

Great location, very peaceful. Boat dock was good, could use a ladder on it though. King bed wasn’t very comfortable to us. Kitchen area with the big window over looks the lake was awesome. If your bringing a boat there be careful there isn’t a lot of room to turn around. They had everything we need in the house for our stay. We would go back. Just get a different bed please.

Great Get-Away!!
We were very pleased with our stay!! The property is tucked away on a quiet no-outlet road which was incredibly peaceful. The boat dock was great. (We went for the fishing.) The house had plenty of room for our family of 6. Nice appliances. Super clean. There is a gas grill, charcoal grill, and fire pit- and we used all 3 during our stay. Great fun for the whole family.
