'Stayed one night in Sep 2025, hotel is new, only opened 3 months ago. Lots of room, great feathertop bed, good but basic hot breakfast. Beware no restaurant at hotel, only nearby are Timmies & submarine shop.'

It was refreshing to swim in the outdoor pool although there was rust on the ladder to get out, due to it being a salt water treated pool. Possibly nothing can be done about that. 'Stayed here for a girl's night and had a fantastic time! Location is beautiful and peaceful. Outdoor space is incredible. We made burgers on the BBQ, enjoyed the pool and deck, did some kayaking and swimming in the lake, and watched a meteor shower on the rooftop. Everyone slept comfortably. We did most of our cooking here- kitchen setup was great, with two fridges, and all the appliances we needed. Check-in was seamless and owner was super helpful and kind. 'After booking two months in advance, we were unable to stay here. This may have been unique to our experience. A conversation with the host verified that two dogs would be allowed on the property, so I went ahead to confirmed the booking. The host of the property was surprised when I contacted them at 3 PM check-in time for the details. It appears the property is listed on multiple sites and there was a technical issue, which resulted in overbooking. This left us scrambling with our two dogs...
