Eagles Lookout ... een geweldig familievakantiehuis!

Wanneer de zonsondergang een rustige gloed over het landschap werpt, wees niet verbaasd om een Bald Eagle te zien breken uit het cirkelende patroon boven je hoofd en duik over onze vijvers om een smakelijke vis te eten voor het avondeten!

Dit is het soort rustige, landelijke locatie waarin het Eagle's Nest zich bevindt. Slechts enkele minuten van Cooperstown en The Dreams Park, maar toch zo privé en onontwikkeld dat een van de meest gevoelige roofdieren, de Bald Eagle, dit gebied thuis noemt!

Ervaar alles wat onze 50 hectare aan weelderige accommodatie te bieden heeft ... wijd open, dramatische uitzicht op de vallei, uitzicht op de bergen, ongelooflijk mooie zonsondergangen, dicht beboste gebieden, vijvers om te kajakken en vissen en verkennen, wandelen, wild en vogels bekijken, wandelpaden , en meer! Bossen, weiden, beekjes ... kinderen zijn dol op het verkennen van dit land!

Het huis beschikt over een begane grond ideaal voor familie vakantie ... een stijgende grote kamer (met gas pot buik fornuis) die open staat voor een eethoek en een uitstekende keuken met ontbijtbar met zitplaatsen voor 4. Een woonkamer gevuld met zonlicht is off van de keuken en is de perfecte plek voor 's ochtends koffie of' s avonds drankjes als de zonsondergang over de verre vallei (de bank opent naar een slaapbank). Een complete badkamer bevindt zich op de begane grond.

De zeer grote slaapkamer met eigen complete badkamer, met een bubbelbad, is gunstig gelegen op de begane grond en de Franse deuren openen naar een eigen, overdekt terras).

Een grote veranda en terras omringen de hoofdverdieping en bieden geweldige ruimtes voor buitenbijeenkomsten.

De blootgestelde trap naar de tweede verdieping zijn twee queensize slaapkamers (beide met prachtig uitzicht) en echt coole zolderruimte met flatscreen ... perfect voor de kinderen. Een complete badkamer bevindt zich hier ook.

Een tweede privétrap leidt naar de "stapelkamer" met 4 zeer comfortabele eenpersoonsbedden. De kamer is super privé, 40 voet lang, kathedraalplafond, 6 luchtlichten, grote flatscreen-tv, zithoek. Franse deuren openen naar een groot overdekt terras met geweldig uitzicht en zonsondergangen.

De aangebouwde garage voor 2 wagens is omgebouwd tot een speelkamer met tafelvoetbaltafel, knutseltafel en tafeltennistafel!

Eagles Lookout is het ideale landhuis; handig bij de attracties van het gebied, waaronder Cooperstown en de balvelden, en toch privé gelegen om een rustige en ontspannen landelijke ambiance te garanderen. De kinderen zullen genieten van de gelegenheid om het pand te verkennen en mama en papa kunnen genieten van de eenzaamheid en schoonheid van het gebied.
De vijver is gevuld met regenboogforel en heeft twee kajaks om uit te vissen.

Wonderful winter getaway

This house is on a beautiful property near Cooperstown. We stayed here in February when there was a ton of snow on the ground and a lot more falling from the sky. The house was cozy. The point of contact for the house was very responsive to any questions we had. It was a great place to bring our kids and spend time in the snow!

Peaceful sunsets!

The whole family of 10 ( including a newborn) had a wonderful time at this house. Plenty of room for outdoor games, family breakfasts, sitting on the decks watching the sun go down. Beds comfy, kitchen well equipped and easy drive to Cooperstown… overall, a great property.

What a great place and location. Just over ten min from our tournament and just over ten minutes into town. Had a blast fishing, relaxing by the fire pit and enjoyed watching the wildlife from the back porch.

A Home Run!

Eagles Lookout was the perfect property for our recent family trip. Close to Dreams Park for our cousin’s baseball games, but remote enough to feel like we had nature all to ourselves. The cabin was exactly what we would have hoped for, and the pond, the fire pit, and the amazing panoramic views were wonderful amenities for everyone to enjoy. The property manager was easy to communicate with through booking to check-out, and we’ll definitely look to rebook this one-of-a-kind property in the future.

Perfect Cooperstown Allstar Village Stay

The property is perfect for a 2-3 family stay only 22-24 minutes from All Star Village. It is a fantastic retreat to get away from the busy baseball scene when you want to grill on the porch and catch bass, panfish and rainbow trout. We did catch one trout so yes they are in there! The home is spacious and everything was in good working order. The views were spectacular! Nothing bad to say about the property.

Nice house, great property, fun for the kids with the game room, I do wish the top Floor had some sort of window coverings as it got bright in there super early, but other than that was a10-15 min drive from dreams parks and a gorgeous property

Perfect house for NYE!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The property is breathtaking and the house is beautiful! The house is clean and rooms are just the right size. Our kids absolutely loved the loft with their four little beds and private hang out area. It is so cozy, we took daily walks on the property. It felt like a breath of fresh air. We had some questions on the use of the fire place and the manager was able to come by and help quickly without a problem. The fire pit outside was so wonderful for making s’mores! We enjoyed our stay very much!

wonderful stay during baseball tourney

The house was perfect for 7 Dads staying while kids were playing baseball. Very clean and huge. Plenty of decks and areas to hang outside. The pond was a big hit for all and overall the property was perfect. We had a small issue with the stove not working and was corrected very quickly.

Just Right

My husband and I rented this property as a getaway before bringing our oldest back to college. We had our 3 teenage sons and our dogs with us and the home was a perfect fit for our family. Erin and Bill were available when we needed them. Everything was clean and WARM! The peace and quiet make it a haven. We already booked another stay in June.

NY State Hide-away

Looking for a place to disconnect from every day life's stresses and pressures? This is it! Except for the birds and the wind you will not hear much. The view of the green hills all around will help calm your senses. At night you will be in awe of the darkness of the skies and the amount of stars and planets you can see with your bare eyes. Of course you would want to share this beautiful place with your family and/or friends. The house has ample space, has a great open floor plan on the ground floor - no way you will step on anyone's toes! Our grandchildren loved the "lock-out" - four beds, table with four chairs , a sofa with table and big TV, plenty of space to hang out and play. We had fantastic weather so there was plenty to do outdoors, play ball, fish and kayak in the pond, explore the area of Cooperstown and its attractions. Even with the Covid situation most of the attractions were open to visit, if not all. During bad weather play a game or two, work on your table tennis or Fussball skills, It's always a hit with the kids. (big or small) The kitchen and dining room space are big enough to prepare and enjoy your culinary delights together. Everything you need is there. From all rooms of the house you have a view of the property and beyond. Beds are comfy for resting after a busy day , 2 coffee makers help wake you up and prepare you for the new day's activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagles Lookout and would love to come back another time - I am thinking fall would be awesome!

Beautiful home and surroundings

The home is spacious and well equipped with everything you need from cooking gear to laundry detergent. There was plenty of room for everyone. The property itself is private and set on a hill with wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding area, two ponds and a stream flow through the property. A great place to get away and convenient to Cooperstown (10) minutes and only thirty minutes to Oneonta. Included a very useful and thoughtful welcome package at check-in. Great stay.

Spacious and cozy with Incredible views, you can’t beat a stay at Eagle’s Lookout!!

We enjoyed everything about this wonderful vacation rental on our family getaway. Bill and Liz were fantastic to deal with throughout every step of the rental. The house itself was in pristine condition and had so many essentials already there that made for great accommodations. While we spent a lot of time exploring the Cooperstown/Hartwick area, we always ended up back at the house because of how much fun it was. I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone and everyone I know and we already can’t wait to plan our next trip!
