'Brilliant for hiking and visiting Guildford. Staff were pleasant and friendly. The food is quite expensive, though and initially I was charged for a glass of wine that was part of my menu. No fuss about it, however, and the bill was rectified. Good overall experience!'

'Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. '
