'This was the worst cottage experience we had. Upon arrival we noticed a blood stain on the mattress and pillow and messaged the owner but he couldn’t do anything until the next day so we slept on the couch. Next day we only got a mattress cover arnd 5 pm instead of he changing the mattress and pillow for us. So didn’t even use the pillow. Next day after while eating breakfast we heard a continuous gurgling sound from the bathroom. When I went to inspect it. The sewage was backing up from toilet...

'The unit was beautiful, spotless and very well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, was immaculate, bright and functional. The bedrooms were inviting, comfortable and extremely clean. The outdoor space was a nice added bonus; we enjoyed our morning coffee outside, under the gazebo. From check in to check out, communication with Kim was clear and timely. I would recommend this spot whole-heartedly and I look forward to returning.'

11. Belleville convenient suite 10 min walk from the Lakeshore and Hospital

Belleville

'My friends and I stayed at this property on the past weekend. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. First and foremost, the uncleanliness of the space was alarming. We discovered cockroaches not only in the fridge and on the shelves but also around the basement area. This made us feel uncomfortable and concerned about our health throughout our stay. Additionally, the advertisement does not mention that the property was a shared space. This missing information significantly...

Centre Hastings

'The lakefront location offered an amazing view, and the cabin itself was quiet and clean. The owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, while the other campers were welcoming and considerate. Although the cabin does not have bathrooms and we needed to collect our own water from the well, everything was conveniently located nearby, and the experience was surprisingly enjoyable. The overall atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxing, making it a memorable stay.'
