'We did our research beforehand and the Royal Sonesta truly delivered. The entire property was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The landscaping is stunning and the beach is rather calm and swimmable compared to other beaches on the island. The place is alive and everyone there is clearly having one of the greatest times of their life. '

'Excellent location, perfect views, great swimming pools and poolside service. The mahi mahi tacos at Lavas were fabulous. Housekeeping staff are excellent and attentive. This property is aging well, not as fancy as the Grand Hyatt, so it’s more affordable and less pretentious. '

'We had a good stay at the Point. The staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and big enough. There is everything you need. The furniture looks outdated, but it have it's charms. The resort looks great and we enjoyed the pool. The kids loved it. The drinks at the pool are good and affordable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is central to visit al the known tourist sites.We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this resort.'

'The beds, staff, and taxi to the airport (10$) was nice. The room was clean, but no curtains (wake up early). The other guests were loud, fighting and smoking - we Would therefore not stay here again. '

The resort is just enough out of the way that you’re not right in the middle of town, but you’re close enough to everything in just a short drive.
