Schöne aber laute Zimmer
Als wir dort waren leider eine große Baustelle nebenan, die auch am Wochenende bis in die Nacht gearbeitet haben. Wie von anderen bereits beschrieben sehr laut auch von der Straße, was wohl daran liegt das keine Fensterscheiben in den großen Balkontüren zumindest war unser Zimmer so. Räume sind ansonsten schön mit bequemen Betten und gutes Badezimmer. Hervoragend war das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal dem ein großes Lob gehört.

super accueil top logement.
Super accueil par la femme de ménage il me semble. Très gentille, souriante et aimable. Très belle chambre numéro 5 avec beaucoup de charme et de confort. Seul petit bémol la rue donne sur une rue en travaux « un détail qui ne concerne pas le logement » sinon 2 grands lits, haut plafond en plein cœur de La Havane 3min à pieds. Si je retourne à La Havane je choisi je logement.

The best place in town!
Really lovely place and centrally located. Brian and his staff were fantastic! We really enjoyed our time in Havana. There are great bars and restaurants nearby.

Wonderful room in the centre of old town Havana. Welcoming team and great breakfast in the morning on the terrace. Just a small walk to restaurants and old town sights. Lovely!

Not as expected in anyway, rundown and scary, driver doesn’t pick you up like you were told they would, so you find your own way back to a dirty over crowded ally way so noisy all night inside the hotel and out. Worst trip ever. I would never return, even if it was free. Total dump.

Thank you for staying with us Mr Joseph Kitz. First and foremost I apologize that you didn't have the stay that you wanted to have. I however would like to clarify a few things, we are not located in an alley way, we are located on the corner of 2 intersecting streets. We apologize for the noise in the streets, however being right in the heart of old Havana that can happen and especially so at the end of the year! We are humans and make mistakes like everyone. We try to rectify any problems in a timely manner and are always open to suggestions as we are always trying to improve. The comments to us about not being a beach front property nor having a swimming pool on the property is completely out of our hands and we do not advertise that anywhere. We will not be blackmailed into discounted or free stays for positive reviews. We have and will always strive to give the best service to our clients as we tried to do for you, such as in aiding you with changing your flight back home due to last minute family plan changes, and we did call 3 taxis for you, each of which you cancelled last minute with $0 penalties to you. I wish you the best on your endeavors and safe travels to you and your family! Thank you for choosing us.

Staff make the stay special
The hotel is in the middle of the Old Havana district and close to major attractions. It is up a flight or 2 of some steep stairs. After an initial mishap with a misplaced booking the staff were very helpful and friendly and happy to assist with our questions. There can be late night street noise.

Impressive mansion, bring earplugs, skip breakfast
Rooms in Havana Dreams boast ceilings of 4+ meters in a nicely restored 1920s building a short walk from the main square. Nice atmosphere and a wifi-free zone. On the less positive side, breakfast on the rooftop terrace is fine but non-hygienic, cooked in the wind in the middle of a construction site. The aftermath of the stay coincided for both of us with a nasty noro-virus. It can be fairly noisy late into the night in the heart of the old town in Havana – bring earplugs. The taxi to the airport reconfirmed twice never arrived. If this happens to you, walk towards Iberostar hotel, there are plenty there.

For the future and any future guests be careful in where you choose to eat and drink especially drinks that have ice in them as you could have possibly gotten sick anywhere during your stay. At Havana dreams we strive to be as careful as possible and we only use boiled or bottled water in our drinks and food. As for your taxi your driver did call to let us know he was five minutes delayed we understand you may have been in a rush and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Great place for Havana Vieja
The hotel is in a great location, especially for Old Havana. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, with a large fridge and balcony, and very clean.

Best place to stay in Havana!
Everything was perfect, from location to room to service. The sweetest ladies work here and beyond helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to get a feel for what’s it’s like to live in a historic apartment building without the touristy fuss of the larger chain hotels.

Havana Dreams Boutique Hotel is located right in the action within Old Havana - walking distance to everything. I felt very safe and secure. The room is air conditioned and has a private bathroom. The room is tastefully decorated and has the most comfortable beds! There is a small balcony off the bedroom which is excellent for watching life unfold in old Havana town. The terrace on the roof top serves up beautiful breakfasts and the staff were friendly and caring. I would definitely stay here again!

Pulled up to the place we were staying and was nervous at first but this was absolutely beautiful on the inside and everyone was so helpful and kind. Made us feel at home and so welcomed. Breakfast on the terrace was perfect!! Location was right in the middle of lots to walk and see. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone traveling! Location is great—- can walk everywhere- safely! Don’t let the entrance and third world facade put you off. Inside is spotless clean large rooms with all you need—- AC, well stocked refrigerator, large and well functioning bathroom all tile, nice firm beds, extremely helpful and friendly staff,rooftop patio for great Breakfasts of fresh fruit, eggs, waffles, toast, and great coffee with steamed milk——all very reasonably priced!!!! Owner is always ready to help and make suggestions so You will have a great Cuban experience. The only negative thing to say is to be prepared for the steep steps up to the small lobby area. This place grows on you..... you are surrounded by the real Cuba..... right down to hearing roosters crowing on the distance!

Perfect choice for exploring Havana
Amazing choice. The hotel is in the heart of the old town which is basically the place to be in Havana. Shalini and Brian helped our family organize a beautiful stay in Havana, Vinales signature trip was perfect, rooftop terrace breakfasts with fresh fruit and juices will stay in our memories forever. The staff is super friendly and easy to talk to even though we don't speak Spanish well. The room was comfortable and clean, roomy shower, full fridge of beverages at affordable prices since basically everything is hard to get in Havana. Brian helped us with lots of insider info on Havana and Cuba in general which made our trip to other places in Cuba simple and enjoyful. Perfect choice, will book again if we ever come to Havana again...

Amazing little gem in the heart of Havana
We were so happy to have found the Havana Dreams Boutique hotel. Even before we arrived the hosts were super accommodating and helped make some last minute changes for our group... The hotel itself is beautiful and has amazing character, and the hosts made us feel like we were staying with old friends. The information they gave us about the city helped make everything better. It was a different world than the all inclusive resorts we have been staying in, and the rooftop breakfast was the cherry on the top. If we come back to Cuba we will surely be back to stay here!

Havana Dreams is situated perfectly for exploring Habana Vieja & beyond. From the time of my booking the owner Brian was great at communicating and answering any questions I had. Checking in was seamless and we took advantage of the airport transport that they offered. The room is newly renovated, very clean and beautifully decorated. I have not stayed in a room anywhere in Cuba with this value. We had a beautiful balcony facing the city streets. The bed was very comfortable. There is also an area to hang clothes and a fridge containing a vast amount of beverages for purchase. Our room and bathroom was cleaned everyday! Breakfast is served every morning on the rooftop terrace with a great view. I could not recommend this place enough. I have never had such a lovely experience at any hotel. Thank you to Brian and his team for making this trip an incredible experience. Royston T
