'I very rarely leave reviews but Ishq was exceptional. If you are looking for an alternative to big, chain hotels this small, intimate property is perfect. Beautiful rooms and spaces with personal service. Food exceptional. Thanks Darshana.'

'Don’t be mistaken as the hotel advertises they are 3 mi from the airport - they are close to the domestic flights airport not the international airport (they are 40 KM away so it will cost you à big surcharge plus one hour travel time)'

'Staff was very helpful and the rooms offered high quality against very reasonable prices'

'I really enjoyed my stay here. The peole were very nice. When taking tours my requests were very well listened to and facilitated. The food was amazing, when asked for help witj the food, very eager to help me out. The bar on the top floor were very friendly, knew my drink after 2 nights. All in all, amazing stay, would stay again.'

'Eventhough Expedia says "House keeping everyday", no house keeping at all. When I asked the staff the reply was "we only do house keeping every 4 days". I stayed for 3 nights.'

'Ontbijt was minder.

'I stayed twice in 2011 and 2013. I had a feeling that it was very clean both times. That is why I choose this hotel again. But this time I was very disappointed. I saw the ants in the bathroom. '

'Nice, quiet, and convenient location in heart of Colombo. A property in its own category. Friendly staff.'

'Dirty and the house keeping entered my room early morning. Otherwise nice staff.'

'In general for a three star hotel it is ok, however the toilet had an stuffy smell, which may be coming from the drains. Otherwise every thing is good'
