Architect ontworpen Eco-huis in een afgelegen privé-baan

Summerhaven is een prachtig modern vakantiehuis gebouwd volgens de hoogste normen en minuten van het charmante dorpje Little Haven, Pembrokeshire. Het in 2013 voltooide, door de architect ontworpen ecowoning wordt bereikt door 49 treden omhoog door de eigen, beboste tuin op een heuvel. Het huis is ontworpen om optimaal te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht over een rustige bosrijke vallei met een glazen wand die uitkomt op het balkon met reling. Kom tot rust en ontspan in de lichte, open leefruimte en verken het prachtige Pembrokeshire vanuit deze perfect gepositioneerde locatie in het dorp. Little Haven biedt een scala aan hoogwaardige pubs, restaurants en cafés en het naburige Broad Haven heeft een kleine winkel, strandwinkels en een surfverhuurcentrum. Beide Havens-gemeenschappen verwelkomen bezoekers met seizoensgebonden evenementen, kunsttentoonstellingen en festivals om van te genieten. Of je nu wilt genieten van de zomer-zandkastelenwedstrijd of meedoet aan de verkwikkende New Years Day-duik, er is altijd wel iets interessants te doen en te zien. Pembrokeshire is een mooie, ongerepte provincie met veel bezienswaardigheden. Wandelaars hebben toegang tot het prachtige kustpad van het dorp. Wonderfull house!

Our stay in Summerhaven was lovely. The house is super, clean, very light and lots of space. The area is just wonderfull. Those stairs are a good excercise every day, but I can imagine not very easy for some people. Our respect for Clive and Sheila for letting us stay in their beautiful house!

Mooi huisje in leuk kustdorp

Ruim en licht huis, schoon en met complete uitrusting. Ligging is zeer rustig maar wel besloten, er is geen mooi uitzicht. De trap naar het huisje is voor mensen die minder goed ter been zijn lastig. Little haven is een heerlijk kustdorpje met leuke restaurants en een prachtig strand (bij eb). Mooie omgeving. Het dorp is te bereiken via smalle (single track) wegen en is niet druk.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house in a gorgeous little valley. It's well equipped and very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and responsive.The house is just a few minutes' walk from Little Haven, which offers a lovely little beach, 3 decent pubs, and a couple of cafes. It's also just 15 minutes walk (via the beach at low tide) from Broad Haven which has a decent small supermarket.

As described. Great house and really spacious. Very clean. Really close to Little Havens cafes and pubs so a brilliant all round space. I didn't read the description fully so the stairs were a bit of a shock for the older parents we had with us (my fault) but actually we got used to them pretty quick. Amazing views out of the windows especially in the main living area.

Lovely stay!

We loved our long weekend staying at Summer Haven - the house was perfect, with so much room in the communal areas. Little Haven is a wonderful place that we are fortunate to have visited many times. Clive (the host) was very responsive and helpful, I would recommend this lovely property to everyone!

Little Haven gem

Great place to stay if you want peace and quiet but also easily walkable to beach, pubs etc. it’s set back from the road so very peaceful and there are great walks from the door up through the woods if you have a dog. Not suitable for old people or families with babies in prams as it would be hard work getting everything / everyone up the steps!

Short break with family in Feb half term. Fantastic house with lots of space. Little Haven on the doorstep with lovely restaurants and pubs and of course the sea! Broad haven a short walk away with a small supermarket and more places to eat and a beautiful beach.

Brilliant Property & Host

What an impressive property and a great host - I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stop in the area. It’s only a short walk in to the town/village (roughly 10 minutes) where there’s a few nice pubs and cafes. A really good location for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Holiday with friends

This was a really lovely house to stay for a week in Little Haven. It was very quiet, just a five minute walk into Little Haven which is a very sweet village. The house was easy to use, well equipped(butt need to bring bath and hand towels) and the heating was perfectly set so we didn’t not have to change the settings at all(mid to late October). The stairs were not a problem for any of us who were all in late 70s.

Relaxing beautiful stay

Amazing views from a spacious and well furnished house. It was a home from home - beds soooo comfortable and everything we needed. Little Haven is a 2 minute walk away and has a great beach with 3 lovely pubs. All in all a fabulous place to stay.

Great week’s holiday in this beautiful house. Very peaceful and private, loved listening to the birds in all the surrounding vegetation. Everything in the house was to a very high standard- furnishings, beds white goods. Great TV for men to watch the football! A perfect getaway from city life. We will be back! Thank you.

Great find

This lovely eco house is in a perfect location to visit Pembrokeshire. The house is in very good order, is well equipped and its 'tree top' location makes it that extra bit special. We were just four adults but it would be perfect for six people as it has three good sizes bedrooms. The location is perfect, if you can manage the 47 steps to the house, it is a very short walk to the village which has a number restaurants, pubs and a café. We would recommend.

Beautiful house in the trees, just up from the beach.

This is a lovely place to stay. The house is just as good as you see in the pictures. Morning sunlight streams through the windows. The small balcony is beautiful for breakfast. We cycle and run. There are beautiful trails from the door. It’s all that we hoped for. Clive was very responsive and helpful.

New Year Break

Exceptional property with quality fittings and fixtures making it feel like a real home from home. Despite the beautiful village being a stone's throw away, we actually found it difficult to get out at times due the comfort of the house and with the huge windows and views, we felt like we were getting a taste of the outside without actually having to venture out!!!This was our second stay here and it will always be our first choice of property down West for future visits.

Convenient and quiet

A short stroll from Little Haven, and not much of a walk (along the beach) to Broad Haven - we were able to pop down to the beach pretty impulsively, depending on the start of surf and tide. The property description is very clear about the steps up to the house, so unless you're confident in being able to handle these, then this isn't the place for you. The large open plan main room is very comfortable, with lots of room and a pleasant aspect out onto the trees that surround the property. Bedrooms are reasonably-sized and all beds were very comfortable. We had a great week, and would definitely use Summerhaven again.

We had a great time, the house was fantastic and had everything we needed.

Excellent house, in a lovely location.one upset however it was at 5.00pm on our last night the power went off. We tried the trip switch lots of times but kept on cutting out. Used a torch to get to bed, Did not spoil our break.

Post Christmas get away

Property was warm and welcoming Little Haven is totally unspoilt, perfect if you just want to 'stand and stare' Perhaps some lighting on the outside stairs is needed ( we had to use our phones to see) Really enjoyed walking at Marloes and the food at Runwayskiln The area is not for those who need to be entertained but it was perfect for us
