'We had a beautiful snowstorm for the weekend. The cottage is cozy and warm. The view is beautiful with a tranquil, peaceful setting. It is close to town. '

'The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block...

'All kind of birds singing. Very peaceful. The owner was kind enough to spray for mosquitoes which helped slot. Tree branches, brush & logs in water made kayak/ rowboat access very difficult.'

'Overall it was a wonderful experience at the location. We were surprised it did not have air conditioning because the first day we arrived, it was hot and humid. Luckily the owner had fans available for us to use. The weather cooled down and everything else was great! '

'The cabin is beautiful inside, so comfortable. The lake is beautiful and so peaceful. I enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to bull frogs and watching the turtles. The kayaks were a plus...loved exploring the lake. It is a perfect get away and so very relaxing.'

'Our family really enjoyed our week-long stay! Four adults and two children (ages 9 and 11). We went out on the lake in a rowboat a few times, roasted s'mores over a campfire by the shoreline, and cooked meals on the large gas grill on the deck. There was lots of comfortable seating inside, and a screened in porch with chairs and table was perfect for playing boardgames in the evening. Downtown Minocqua was a 15 minute drive away. The owner was very responsive and helpful. There were a few...

'Very cute, clean and nice property to stay. Was not disappointed. Except for the weather; we weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit which is awesome. Although pets are allowed on property, there was no evidence of them having been there. Very well cleaned. Location is good for visiting Eagle River, St Germaine and Rhinelander.'

'The property was beautiful! Cozy and had everything we needed right there. Lake was less than 5 minute walk from the cabin. Deer came right up to the property. Will definitely be back- perfect for couples. '

'This place has CLASSIC northern Wisconsin charm. We loved the fish, moose bear themes everywhere. Beds were snuggly on our cool nights. The kitchen was stocked the best we have seen for a getaway cabin. Only one thing missing-cheese grater! The living room is narrow and small, so if you had a bigger group on a bad weather day it would be tight. Lake access is across the road. This was a great location for biking, hiking, star gazing. Fabulous quilt store nearby. '
