Rustiek, rustig, gezellig chalet op 130 hectare landbouwgrond

Ons rustieke chalet heeft veel charme en is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen. Het is gelegen op onze 130 hectare schilderachtige landbouwgrond met de mooiste en adembenemendste uitzichten. Binnen 5 minuten vindt u de Sugarloaf Golf Club en in ongeveer 35 minuten rijden vindt u grote skigebieden, de Poconos, het historische Jim Thorpe, raften op de rivier Lehigh en het pretpark van Knoebel.

De eerste verdieping omvat een comfortabele, gezellige en volledig ingerichte woonkamer met een smart-tv met wifi (gasten ontvangen een wachtwoord bij het inchecken), een volledig uitgeruste keuken met een oven / fornuis, magnetron, broodrooster, koelkast en een koffiezetapparaat. Het omvat ook potten / pannen, schalen, glaswerk, bestek, enz. Er is een tafel en stoelen om te dineren.

De eerste verdieping heeft ook een slaapkamer met een eenpersoonsbed boven een stapelbed. Daarnaast is er een badkamer met een douche met handdoeken die onze gasten kunnen gebruiken. Er is geen bad, alleen een douche.

Boven is er een slaapkamer op de vliering met uitzicht op de benedenverdieping met twee full-size bedden. In totaal kunnen 7 gasten hier verblijven, maar houd er rekening mee dat de bedden alleen op ware grootte zijn.

Wij bieden onze gasten fris beddengoed en handdoeken.
Ons chalet beschikt over een gloednieuwe wrap around dek waarmee onze gasten kunnen genieten van het adembenemende en prachtige uitzicht dat de bergen, land boerderij velden, onze vijf hectare grote vijver en bossen vol met schoonheid van de natuur omvat.

Gasttoegang:
Onze woning biedt toegang tot onze 5 hectare grote vijver, die slechts een korte wandeling door onze boerderij velden is. Gasten kunnen zelfs vissen in onze vijver als ze dat willen. (zorg ervoor dat u uw eigen apparatuur meeneemt).

Maak een wandeling rond de boerderij om een aantal prachtige foto's te maken. Beëindig uw nacht rond onze vuurplaats roosterend sommige s'mores of eenvoudigweg ontspannend.

We staan NIET roken of huisdieren toe.
Ons chalet is niet kindveilig en niet geschikt voor kleine peuters vanwege een hoog balkon en traptreden.

Get away cabin

This cabin is so nice out in the woods, almost completely secluded. Would be awesome to bring a family to enjoy. I would easily stay here again. Wish I could enjoy it more. If you want the city life, I do not recommend this place. This is a quiete place, could write a novel or a song here. The basement has so much potential to build a game room or something of that nature

Weekend Getaway

The property was very nice and remote (which is what we were looking for). The place was as the pictures showed. It was clean and ready to be used. We checked in a bit early and the manager was extremely responsive and agreeable. Some detractors were the size of the shower (very small), the driveway was very steep and rather icy, and the distance from "stuff" (which again was what we were looking for). The only problem was the stairs from the basement to the main area of the cabin. They were extremely narrow and difficult to navigate. Someone in poor physical condition, elderly, or large in size most likely could not get into the property. If there were a way to access the property from the front door off the deck, this problem would be solved. Again, we had a wonderful stay and were extremely pleased. We would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Beautiful property and quiet. I will mention there is an ant problem in the kitchen and I would suggest bringing a couple blankets. Linens were very thin. Otherwise a great place. Thank you for sharing your property with us.

This was one of the best cabin weekends we have had! The chalet is cozy and the Mountain View’s from the farm are wonderful. We appreciated the snacks left by the host and the overall cleanliness of the cabin. We’ll definitely be back!

The overall impression was good. There are 2 important points to highlight: 1- The bedroom doesn't have doors, this detail does the house with no privacy for adults; 2- The bathroom is extremely narrow, if you are a man like me ( 270 lbs), taking a shower is a very challenging situation.

An unforgettable vacation!

Our first impression of the cabin was great! It was super cozy and clean and exactly what we hoped for. The first evening, we were hit with really bad weather and lost electric/plumbing for the remainder of our stay. The co hosts, who live across the street had a tree fall onto their house and they still had time to go out of their way to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Tiffany and Chris were so kind and generous to offer us a free night because of the inconvience of loss of power. We can't say enough about how special this trip was, not only because of the one of a kind experiences we had, but also because of the wonderful hosts. We recommend this rental 100%!

Perfect for us

Rustic, very quiet and comfortable. We had several deer visit the yard, and fireflies everywhere in the fields around us. We were away from the cabin in the evenings, but would have enjoyed a campfire provided behind the cabin had we had the time. We hiked at Rickets Glenn State Park about an hour drive north of the cabin. Well worth the drive! Multiple waterfalls in a beautiful forested setting. The stairs leading up from the basement and up to the loft bedroom might be an issue for some considering this rental, however we are both 67 and had no issues. We would definitely consider this rental in the future

The Great Escape

Loved every bit of the chalet except the lower steps only because I have a bad leg and had trouble maneuvering and the other entrance was too far for me to walk. The whole place was beautiful, indoors and out. We loved having a firepit in the evening. We hope to come back sometime and will recommend to others. So peaceful!
