'Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.'

'If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful cabin to just go get lost in the world of your significant other, this is the place to go! They’re far enough from the everyday life but still close enough to enjoy all the beauty of their charming city!! The food is to die for and definitely a reason for us to return!! Nothing bad to say at all except they need larger hot water tanks bc when I’m enjoying my wife that includes sharing a shower that we would have preferred not to be rushed out of!! Otherwise...

'I loved my stay at the Springhouse, originally built in 1803! It’s in a fantastic location, with a park-like yard that feels peaceful and inviting. The outdoor space is a highlight plenty of seating, picnic tables, flowerbeds in bloom, and of course the spring itself, which adds so much charm.Inside, the house is cozy and nostalgic, full of character. The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove and full-size refrigerator, making it easy to cook meals during my stay. The water is wonderfully soft ...

'This is my familys second time staying at Lisa's property. Each time the cabin has been clean, well stocked, and no issues whatsoever. Lisa is very easy to communicate with and the property itself is special. From the relaxation under the canopy of trees, to the pool and creek access, there is plenty for a family to do. We look forward to our next annual trip!'
