Very Enjoyable Stay
Weekend visit with three generations (ages 19 to 83), weather wasn't very cooperative for outdoor activities, but we very much enjoyed the screened porch (and designated extra blankets for outdoor seating) and ping pong. Kitchen is well-appointed, comfortable beds in bedrooms, spacious enough for people to gather together or find a quiet spot. Clear instructions, easy check-in/check-out...lovely home.

Absolutely loved our stay. Well stocked kitchen supplies, toiletries, wood for fireplace and firepit...even blankets for sitting round the fire! Wonderful game room...spacious & comfy.

Comfy & Gorgeous Spot!
We stayed at the chalet for our joint bachelor/ bachelorette weekend and it was perfect. The house was clean and comfy, the views were amazing and there was room for us to just hang out all weekend. The screened in porch is so nice even in the colder weather thanks to the fire pit & wall heater. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay and would absolutely book here again if we were in the area!

Winter weekend
This place was perfect for our friend gathering. Great fireplace and sitting room for sitting together. Cool hiking trails within walking distance. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds and linens. Friendly, communicative host. Couldn’t have been better!

Family Holiday Gathering
This property was well equipped to handle our family of 8 adults and 5 children. It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays and we enjoyed celebrating family Christmas, New Years and 2 birthdays together! The wood burning fireplace was great and very cozy. Owners were very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend.

Everything we were looking for!
Located in a beautiful area of The Woods, this house had everything that we needed. Group of 8 friends getting together for a weekend to decompress and hang out together in late October. The house was set up perfectly: the living room, dining and kitchen area are open and comfortable- we watched baseball and football while enjoying the fireplace. Some of us played cards on the dining table while fully able to watch the TV and converse while having appetizers and drinks. This was the most clean house I’ve rented. We would definitely stay here again, maybe in warmer weather as the outside was just as inviting with the deck and the outside fire pit. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their wonderful home!

Our family had a wonderful long weekend in this house! The layout was perfect for our group, providing plenty of space to hang out together. The house was stocked with everything we needed, which was so convenient. We had a mostly rainy weekend but still had plenty to do around the house. We really enjoyed the screen porch to be able to be outside despite the rain. The gas fireplace on the porch was a bit tricky to light. We just couldn't get the hang of it, but it was great when we had it working. The kids had a great time swimming at the sports complex. The stocked pond was also really nice, we had a good time fishing, and everyone caught multiple fish. I'd highly recommend this home!

Great property with tons of amenities, very secluded
The property and surrounding area are beautiful. We enjoyed the gas fire pit in the enclosed patio immensely.the hosts checked in and enquirer after any needs and we’re communicative when we needed. The only downside for our group was car sickness on the drive in/out. Lots of twists and turns on mountain roads that us midwesterners are not used to. All in all a very fun and relaxing stay!

Home was beautiful! Our daughter (the bride) and some bridesmaids stayed with us along with family. It was large enough for all us to get ready but still get to spend time together. We are not from the area. Loved seeing the deer around the house and neighborhood. It was quiet area which was great to relax before and after the business of the wedding.

This place had it all!

Blind Squirrels Getaway
The house met and exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and had all the little details to make it extra special. We felt like we were staying at a friends house! Great Hosts !!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at "The Woods" with some of the best hosts I have ever encountered. From the moment I booked this property, I felt supported and welcomed. The property itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I could ask for. The hosts had thought of everything, from providing fresh towels and linens to stocking the kitchen with basic supplies like coffee and tea. They even had a Welcome gift for us. But what really stood out was the kindness and generosity of the hosts , especially Natalie. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. Overall, my stay at this vacation property rental was absolutely wonderful, and I cannot recommend it enough. If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation with excellent hosts, this is the place for you.
