Lovely river-side haven
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cabin over the winter holiday break! The cabin is adorable, with lots of little luxuries and thoughtful touches. And we had the whole property to ourselves, which made it the restful escape we needed. Brandi was an excellent host—very responsive whenever we needed her. We’re looking forward to going back in the summer—camp looks like it would be so much fun! One note for dog owners (please don’t read this as a deterrent): our dog was flummoxed by the stairs to the bedroom at first and required some coaxing. By the second day he was a pro, though :)

Beautiful Retreat!
I loved being at this cozy cabin. I had everything I could want there: scenery, amenities, supplies, etc. Highly recommend! Oh, and the owners are amazing!

Hidden gem
The property is an amazing little spot. Extremely tranquil on the river, quiet and beautiful. The host make sure you have everything you could need and more. I will definitely be coming back again.

Riverview getaway
My Husband and I were looking for a peaceful place to spend for our 25th Anniversary. This was perfect. It was very quiet and when there were neighbors they were super nice, even inviting us over for a campfire. The view is great, especially when you are in the porch swing with your morning coffee or evening cocktail!! We loved the outdoor kitchen. The river access isnt to bad, although our pup refused the metal stairs. Easy fix was the boat launch and with the current that seemed a better place for him to swim. The hot tub is great, and having a cover allows you to enjoy even if its raining!! This was also a great launching point to explore Berkley Springs and Harpers Ferry!! We really enjoyed our stay!!! We would definitely recommend and come back if the opportunity presented itself!

Quick getaway
Place is absolutely amazing. Location along the river is perfect. Secluded In the woods amongst a few campers. I did not see another person while I was there. Outdoor area was excellent, outdoor kitchen pavilion area and fire pit with views of the Potomac. The river was shallow enough for hours of wading out fish. Spent the nights by the fire or catfishing at the river. Didn't leave the property just took it all in. The house is stocked with everything you need for a relaxing time away from it all. Hot tub and massage chair were awesome for relaxing. If I would make any recommendations it would for for the owners to adopt me so I could be there all the time. Looking to make this an annual getaway trip.

Complete relaxation
A very relaxing stay in such a pleasant cabin. Many Zen moments, having coffee on the back deck with just the sound of the flowing river and the birds singing. Although there are RVs scattered about, we never heard a peep out of them. First rate stay!

RELAXING!
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay in this cabin. It was so peaceful and relaxing! The location is perfect. We were able to access the bike trails of the C & O Canal Path (30 minutes away), spent a day in DC (90 minutes away) and enjoyed the different breweries in the area. Brandi was always accessible but we really didn't need her because she had everything ready to go for us. We will definitely be back. Thanks Brandi!

Excellent!
Excellent little river-side cabin with a surprising amount of technological amenities! “Off-season” is the perfect time if you want to be completely alone, from the looks of the guest log, it seems like “peak-season” offers some great neighbors as well. Property management is very communicative and helpful also. Absolutely recommend!!

The whole weekend was amazing from showing up to a warm and cozy cabin to watching the sunset in the hot tub and finishing out the weekend watching the sun rise from the porch swing before we headed home. Can’t wait to visit again

Bad water!
The property was okay. It is on the water which is a huge Plus. However! The water inside of the cabin had a terrible odor of rotten eggs coming from it which was sulfur! We tried to leave it run several times for several minutes to try to get rid of the odor but no luck! I even poured a cup of water to see if it had any brown to it and noticed it was a film on top of the water definitely not safe to drink consume nor bathe! With that going on we could not stay we packed up and left out of there the next morning !When I messaged the owner and told her the situation she gave me back a partial refund and apparently went there when we left and informed me that nothing was wrong with that water that she had to call her plumber to tell him to turn around! That is a lie! Why would I want to lie about something like that and have to repack our stuff and be out of there the next morning! The right thing to do was to fully refund me due to the deplorable conditions of the water! Lesson learned if I don't see tons of reviews on a place I will not rent it! Now my flight is with vrbo hopefully they'll do the right thing and get my refund! And if it doesn't work with verbo I will go up higher! So Beware! Maybe that was the reason why they were running new water pipes! Again don't make me look like a liar you should have done the right thing!

Barb, there wasn't anything wrong with the water and if there was I would have taken care of it. You didn't even give us the opportunity to have someone check it out.

Excellent Riverfront Cabin Getaway
Sean and Brandi made us feel right at home in this cozy riverfront cabin. The amenities were exceptional, the hot tub a fantastic attraction, and the seclusion a welcome break from metro life. Would stay again in no a heartbeat!

A beautiful view from the porch swing
This house was a great place for a 2-night Mama mini-break. Sitting out on the porch swing with coffee, dozing in the vibrating heated zero gravity chair, and close proximity to gorgeous state parks and hiking trails made my couple days feel fabulous. The host was communicative and quickly responded to all questions. Really couldn't ask for better :) One thing to note is the property is in close proximity to a train. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend white noise or ear plugs as the trains run through the night. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again!

Its a beautiful clean cabin on the Potimac River. There is a porch swing to enjoy nature sounds and beauty. We loved the hot tub to relax our tired muscles after hiking. The cabin was cozy and decorated for the season. Our hostess was very friendly & responsive. We had a great time!

Idylic Riverfront getaway!
As soon as you pull in and see the vast Potomac, hear the crickets frogs and birds, and feel the gentle breeze, you know this is a place of utter relaxation. The water was perfect! Clean, fresh, gentle and a bit of a swimming hole by the floating dock. The cabin is great. The kitchen is excellent. Honestly, the knives were super sharp, the pots and pans of good quality, and any supply you could think of was easily available. The stove is gas!! (or maybe propane, but not electric, a big plus!) We loved our stay, Brandi is an excellent hostess, really responsive and she helped us out with some recommendations.
