This is a gorgeous cabin on a beautiful spot. Property managers are very helpful and attentive. The house exceeded expectations in size and comfort. There are 2 things that were not as smooth as they could have been. 1. The hot tub broke on day 1 of 5. This was a bummer because the hot tub was a big part of why we booked this one. 2. The drive up to the place is more challenging than we expected. Tricky even if you have a 4 wheel drive.

Very clean / just need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there. No dishwasher but not a huge issue for us with only 2 people. Enjoyed the hot tub. Cabin very nice & open floor plan.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The cabin has a great layout, all of the amenities you need and was very well kept and clean. We loved being able to enjoy the cool nights while lounging in the hot tub. The cabin is tucked away into the side of mountain so you get that secluded feeling but you're still able to see some neighbors so you're not completely alone. I do want to note that the road leading to the cabin is a bit rough and would be difficult to navigate if there was any ice or snow and you're vehicle doesn't have 4WD/AWD. My truck only had 2WD but since the weather was nice there were no issues. I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice mountain retreat but still want to be within minutes of trails and downtown Clayton which is where the stores and restaurants are located. Helen, GA is 45 min away and both Highlands, NC and Franklin, NC are about 35 minutes away. Again, we loved our stay and would love to visit again.

Only real complaint was that the grill did not work. Gas canister valve was rusted shut and couldn’t turn it. Other than that our stay was exactly what we were looking for.

Super cozy, fun place for our girls weekend. Close to activities and restaurants in Tiger and Clayton. It rained a few times so the gravel road was a little washed out, but the Subaru made it up and down without any issues.

We had a wonderful time in GA. We love the area and it was close to many places we wanted to visit (Tallulah Gorge, Helen, Clayton to name a few). The cabin was very nice, enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. My only concern was that even in a Subaru SUV, the driveway was a little hard to get up. The other issue is there is no trash bin or service or even a place to haul your trash. There is a note that says bears are prevalent, so keep trash inside. After three nights, that’s a lot of trash piling up inside the cabin. These things aside, a great experience.

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at this property. The open concept and glass windows were perfect for a rainy weekend board games and just hanging out. Our only concern with the property was the water quality. Maybe consider installing a water filtration system to help with the taste and smell. Definitely a trip that we enjoyed and we appreciate you sharing your beautiful home with us.

This cabin had a panoramic view from den, kitchen and eating area. Nita and her team were more than attentive to make our stay as easy and stress free as it could possibly be. Check in and check out was the easiest of any properties we have stayed at in over 30 years.

I brought my mom to this property for an early Christmas present. We loved our stay and highly recommend this cabin. It’s beautiful!!! We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Great place for kids too.

Our family of five absolutely loved our time here. The surrounding trees, hot tub, and indoor fire set the stage for a relaxing and cozy weekend. We would have liked to know the futon was gone since our last stay since we have three children. We all still enjoyed our time. It was very clean and private.

Great place to stay and explore northern Georgia. We got quite a bit of rain so it restricted some of the activities we wanted to do and nobody even noticed since this home was so perfectly suited to just hanging out and enjoying our time together.

Cabin itself is spacious and a good location. Outdoor furniture is old and in ill repair. We were never able to connect TV to wifi so unable to watch. Towels were clean and fresh. Kitchen was not properly cleaned or stocked . Placemats were dirty and old. Property managers were great with communication. The cabin is overly priced for condition and cleanliness.

We came up to attend a wedding at Chota Falls (at most a mile away). The accommodations were spacious yet cozy. It was nice to make a fire in the wood stove (wood was provided) and unwind after the wedding. We can see coming back for a restful weekend and try some of the restaurants in Clayton.

Exactly as advertised -- spacious cabin, hot tub, fire pit, etc. We liked the seclusion, but the gravel road to the cabin was a bit thrilling (i.e. treacherous) for us folks from flat Florida! We ended up cooking quite a bit and would have appreciated better cookware and utensils (need a new can opener by the way). We quickly ran out of garbage space and had to store it inside the cabin. The beds are hard and could have used more pillows, so bring some extras. Having a washer/dryer on site was appreciated. Overall a nice place to get away to -- and Georgia Mountain Rentals was good to work with.
