Chestatee River Cottage

Dit schattige cottage aan de rivier de Chestatee ligt op slechts enkele minuten van het historische centrum van Dahlonega, wijnhuizen en trouwlocaties. Slechts 7 mijl van GA 400, de locatie is centraal in alles wat je zou willen doen en zien. Geniet van het landschap en de natuur van het grote overdekte dek, regen of zonneschijn. Je hoort het vredige geluid van nabijgelegen stroomversnellingen vanaf het dek. Zangvogels, evenals eend, blauwe reigers, herten en de ongrijpbare rivierotter verschijnen van tijd tot tijd. Niet roken binnenshuis, GEEN huisdieren en GEEN feesten of evenementen.

The house is immaculately well kept and the view is stunning! The decor is beautiful and cozy. It truly felt as though we were staying at a treasured friend’s home. Details throughout the home were very thoughtful. After the drive, it was such a treat to discover frosted mugs in the freezer to enjoy as we grilled out. We loved having coffee on the deck, wading in the river, and reading on the swing. We did not want to leave and will be back!

During our trip up a terrible storm blew through the upper north Georgia area knocking out power, downing trees and causing general chaos. This property is amazing. The house was very clean and had every amenity we could want or need. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch area, on comfy and clean outdoor furniture, listening to the sound of the rushing water. We loved this place. Best Cabin Ever!

This cabin was immaculate, extremely well equipped, everything worked perfectly, even all the light switches were labeled. The floor plan with 2 master suites was perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed the large porch overlooking the river and our host, Bruce, told us to look for the family of ducklings and a pair of bald eagles. Dahlonega is a cute town to visit and we did several hikes in the area. We can’t recommend this cabin enough and certainly hope to return!

Incredible!

Christmas Vacation

Wonderful stay at the cabin on the river! Everything we could possibly need as well as a Christmas tree! Place was immaculate and went well and above what most VRBOs do. Convenient to Dahlonega as well as day trip to Helen. The fire pit overlooking River was fabulous. Would definitely stay again.

Another Cozy & Relaxing Stay

This isn't the first time we stayed at this cozy home. It indeed will be our go-to place when visiting north Georgia. The home has everything needed. It is clean and just a warm and inviting home.
