Weekend getaway
It was very peaceful with the river flowing in backyard. I only have one recommendation, it would be nice to have robes there for people to wear around the house. We only travel with carryons and my housecoat wont fit in it. I sure needed it while we were there. Besides that. It was very nice to walk around town and chill out.

Very Pleasant Stay in a Very Nice Cabin with a Great Host
Fantastic cabin that was clean, comfortable and exactly what we wanted. Pleasant sound of the water rushing through the nearby creek complimented the woodsy atmosphere. The best part was that the host was very responsive to our needs and a great communicator. Strongly recommended!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Helen Riverside Cabin and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the immaculate condition of the property, which boasted upscale appliances and thoughtful amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The cabin’s proximity to downtown Helen – just a half-mile walk – offered the perfect blend of convenience and seclusion. Nestled on the banks of the Chattahoochee River, it provided a serene retreat that felt like a true cabin in the woods. Our host was exceptionally kind and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. What stood out most, however, were the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. From extra lounge chairs for relaxing by the river, to a ready supply of firewood for the fire pit, and an abundance of towels, blankets, and pillows – it was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to enhance our experience. We didn’t encounter a single negative aspect during our stay, which speaks volumes about the quality of the property and the level of care from our host. This property was exactly like the photos. A very easy walk into the town of Helen. Very close to many places for day hikes. The cabin was very relaxing, situated right on the Chattahoochee river… beautiful view from the porch! It was a perfect getaway!

This is the sweetest little cabin right on the river, a few minutes walk into town and an easy drive to Meadows at Mossy Creek in Cleveland and Yonah Mountain Vineyard-locations for our daughter's rehearsal dinner and wedding! We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Amazing location with ample privacy.
Great communication with the host allowed for easy check in and out. The location is great, only a walk to downtown Helen, and still have immediate access to the river. The only issues we faced were the TV in the downstairs bedroom went out on us while we were there and a few nails on the porch are a little high that could prove to be something to watch for with barefoot little ones.

Wonderful getaway cabin
We very much enjoyed this lovely little cabin. Everything about it was perfect. It has the feel of a cabin in the woods with the river running behind in, but the walk-ability of in-town living. Check-in and out was easy, the owners very responsive and friendly, the accommodations were exactly what we needed. We will return!

Perfect cabin - perfect location!
My sister and I booked this cabin for a quick getaway sister trip to Helen. Place was perfect! Walking distance to everything downtown, comfortable house. Very comfortable beds! I can see why others rent this house on a repeat basis. Highly recommend!

Best Cabin Ever
We have stayed at this cabin 6 times over the years. It is as clean and new looking as it was the very first time. The river being right there is so wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet but just a block and a half walk and you're in downtown Helen. The house keeping is amazing and the owner is so very nice and always there if needed. We will be back again for stay #7. The Young Family.

The cabin was beautiful and its proximity to the water and town is perfect! Much time was spent on the deck and in the water just people watching! Most relaxing trip we've had in a long time. My only suggestion for the owner is to trim the bushes down to the river. They obscure the view. This is especially true in the summer months.

Family Time.
My husband and I booked this property to stay in while our kids were at the Winshape camp close by. It was perfect! almost every afternoon we would go down to the river in the backyard and sit and watch the tubers go by. We felt like we were in a very private area, yet walking distance to everything. The owners were very easy to communicate with and super nice. We look forward to staying there again next summer.

This was our first time to visit Helen and we wanted a cabin or house instead of a motel room. This cabin was perfect. It was very clean with comfortable seating area and comfortable beds. The porch overlooking the river was so inviting and relaxing. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the short walk to town to shop, eat, or buy food items at the local grocery store. Wonderful Home right on the Edge of Historic Helen GA!
Our Christmas stay was fantastic thanks to this wonderful waterfront home, tastefully decorated for the season. Our host was extraordinarily responsive during the extreme cold snap (single digits!) and did his utmost to keep the heating and pipes operational. The house is perfect for a large group and had everything we needed. The "elder accessible" nature of the home was a huge help for the grandparents. Very quiet area and horses across the street were lovely. Town is right around the corner, literally. Couldn't be better. Thanks for making our family gathering a success!

Love this cabin! 3rd year visiting!
My husband, son and I have stayed in this cabin for three years in a row now. We love it. It is spotless and the owner is so easy to work with. It’s close enough to walk to downtown Helen but far enough away to feel secluded and private. Can’t say enough great things about this sweet cabin in the woods that my little family has grown to love over the years. Would look forward to our stay every year.
