Solid bones, good space, lots of “stuff”, but det funkar!
We needed a place that would accommodate eight or nine people comfortably, 1 teen and 7 adults from mid 20s to mid 60s. This seemed like our best bet. 2 of us traveled from the US via Copenhagen, very easy. 3 traveled from Skelkeftea via two plane rides, a bit more trouble, but worked out. 1 traveled from Stockholm, one plane ride, then bus to town, and 2 travel by car long but doable and one came via train from Gothenburg. Two of the adults in their 60s ended up choosing to stay in a hotel. The house is very large, but very dated and crammed full of things everywhere there wasn’t a single cupboard that was halfway empty to put food that we bought at the grocery store. The previous guests left trash and compost under the sink, house smelled bad because of it. It was very hot and two little fans didn’t quite do the job so most of us were uncomfortable, especially at night. Renting sheets is cash only and making our own beds was something I have never had to do before, but it worked out OK. The size of the living room was excellent and big enough to accommodate all of us. The size of the dining room was excellent as well. We even managed to squeeze around the table in the yard fairly easily thanks to some folding chairs in the house. The kitchen and bathrooms were adequate. We were disappointed the dryer didn’t work. having a washer and dryer was expected and neeeded. WiFi pass was wrong, but figured out. Overall “det funkar”
