Geheel gerevitaliseerde Craftsman Bungalow uit 1930 in de historische wijk Hendersonville, uitgerust met moderne meubels in Mission-stijl, moderne voorzieningen en alle gemakken van thuis. Stappen om te fietsen / wandelen bij de plaatselijke Oklawaha Greenway, brouwerijen, koffie, restaurants en het centrum van Hendersonville. Slechts een korte rit naar wandelen, mooie uitzichten, Asheville, het Biltmore Estate, Tryon Equestrian Centre, wijnmakerijen en alles wat Western NC te bieden heeft.

De Braeburn Bungalow dankt zijn naam aan een verscheidenheid aan appel, het bekende gewas van Hendersonville!

Het huis is een smaakvolle mix van originele Craftsman-bungalowdetails en moderne accenten. Gestructureerde en gepleisterde muren vullen moderne accenten aan, zoals de schootmuren van het schip, metrotegels, marmeren werkbladen en staldeur. Verschillende originele items blijven in het huis - van de glazen voorkasten, de open haard, de woonkamerdeuren (met origineel, golvend glas), tot hergebruikte originele ramen als accentstukken.

Het huis ligt letterlijk op een steenworp afstand van de historische wijk 7th Avenue, met eetgelegenheden, een koffiehuis, verbinding met de Greenway en parken, en binnenkort VIER lokale ambachtelijke brouwerijen. Ga nog een paar minuten verder en je hebt de absolute charme van Downtown Hendersonville betreden. Downtown is vol met extra restaurants (variërend van delicatessenzaken tot lekker eten), cideries, meer brouwerijen, een handvol lokale ambachtelijke en antiekwinkels.

Het gehele hoofdniveau van het huis en het terrein van het huis zijn exclusief beschikbaar voor de gasten.

Gasten hebben volledige privacy, aangezien hosts off-site zijn. We zullen ernaar streven zo snel mogelijk te reageren tijdens uw verblijf. Af en toe zijn we mogelijk op het terrein voor routinematig tuinwerk of om toegang te krijgen tot de kelder, maar we laten het u van tevoren weten en er is een speciale ingang naar de kelder zodat we uw verblijf niet storen.

Er is een kelder, maar deze is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik door de eigenaar voor horecabenodigdheden. De achterste schuur is niet toegankelijk voor auto's en gasten - vanwege structurele problemen.

De Braeburn Bungalow ligt in Cold Spring Park, een nationaal register van historische plaatsen in de historische wijk.

Summer vacation

The house was lovely and very comfortable for our 8 night stay with the family and our wheaten terrier. The house was just as listed except the listing mentions a mountain view and there is no mountain view in the summer from any angle. There is no parking except for in front of the house and at times it was a little tight assuming due to the holiday weekend and parties going on. The beds were very comfortable and the master bathroom is huge! The master closet also is huge and has a desk, monitor, and keyboard to make working remote easy. It was a nice surprise to find snacks left for us in the kitchen and cold beer in the refrigerator. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Overall, all surface areas were very clean but like many rentals the house needs a deep cleaning (ceiling fans, corners, baseboards, etc.) however, I would not hesitate to stay again. We had a wonderful visit and enjoyed walking downtown many times and there is an amazing ice cream place around the corner. Thanks for sharing your home with our family.

Wonderful!

Beautiful home and very comfortable. Well stocked and had everything we needed. Close to downtown H'ville. Front steps are a little uneven and steep, so loading and unloading is much easier from the back entrance. We will definitely stay again!

Couples Getaway

Reunited with old friends over Memorial Day Weekend. Had a great time at wineries, fishing and exploring downtown Hendersonville. Highly recommend this vacation rental. Excellent location that’s walkable to downtown, clean, and plenty of room for families or couples getaway. We’ll be back!

Home away from home in Hendersonville

The house was very clean and well stocked. Did some remote work and Wi-Fi was good. Slept like a baby on the comfortable bed. We had no issues at all. Nice walk around the corner to some excellent breweries. Parking and house access much easier from the back.

Charming place

Overall good but needs a deep clean. Lots of dust and dirt in floor areas, plus spiders everywhere. Well appointed with everything you need except coffee for first morning. Bedroom door knob does not work and I was locked inside for awhile until rescued by spouse….dangerous if you needed to get out quick. Parking was a challenge as well but made it work. Location and porch were nice. Modern bathrooms great too. We would come back.

Loved it. Very quaint & very cool.

Our family of 5 stayed for 3 nights over a long weekend of enjoying various activities in the area. From the moment we walked through the door, we all loved the charm of the place. We also quickly realized the level of thoughtfulness of the host in terms of the accomodations and all of the "extras" that help it feel like home. Highly recommend!

Amazing Location!!!

We stayed in Hendersonville at Braeburn Bungalow before dropping our girls at sleepaway camp. The house was a great space for our family (2 adults, girls 8 and 10, and two large dogs). The location was unbeatable...walkable for our family to main street and to the restaurants near the train depot. We loved exploring the town. The house is also a short drive to great hiking in the Dupont National Forest. We will definitely stay here again!!

Super clean home, very comfortable for a family! The owner is terrific, very accommodating with quick response time. Much to do in town with many great restaurants and shopping. We loved staying at this home. The house is very comfortable and furnished/decorated beautifully. The amenities were top-notch from the quality of the sheets/bedding to the kitchenware. I truly felt like I was at home here (although I think a much nicer home!). Centrally located to anything you might want to do in the area. We will definitely stay here again.

New Years Weekend Getaway

Absolutely wonderful house. The charm of a old bungalow style home with all the modern upgrades and conveniences. Loved the kitchen and the master suite especially. Incredibly comfortable with numerous additional touches such as streaming TV, games, new appliances, wonderful bed linens, soap and shampoo, plus lots of informative notes in the house. Location was close to downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants. Short drive to Flat Rock. Be sure to check out the village bakery. Also reasonable drive to Asheville. The host was great. Communication about details and parking information through messaging was quick. I’d definitely recommend. It was perfect for our friend group and I can imagine it would be wonderful for families or even a romantic trip. Thank you hosts!

Had everything we needed !

Very convenient location. Cozy house with very comfortable beds. We were there over the Christmas holiday when it went to 1 degree, but everything went well. Brandon was very responsive to any questions and receptive to a suggestion or two. As the title indicates, it had everything we needed and the dogs enjoyed the yard.

Wonderful!

The house was perfect for us! It was charming, spacious, clean, comfortable and welcoming. We walked downtown for dinner one evening and it was a short driving distance to all the places outside downtown we visited. We loved the house and would definitely stay there again.

Close to town, great place!

We had a lovely time in the cottage for 2 nights, and had exactly what we needed. It's an older home that has been kept clean and updated but also feels very homey. We were traveling with our small dog so it was important that we could stay somewhere that was pet friendly as well. Very easy communication with the owner to boot. Definitely recommend!

A Perfect Stay!

We rented the house for a Girls’ Trip, and it was an absolutely perfect experience! The house is very quaint and cozy…just like the pictures. Communication with the the host was great and check-in was easy. We have already made plans to stay here again!
