'Stafff was great. Campground was ok but turned into a party zone at night. Music screaming yelling slamming doors constantly. I ppacked up and left for a hotel at 1 am. Party on both ends was going strong. '

'It was nice. Only issue we ran into was the conrs that were supposed to be blocking our dsignated parking wasnt there and the spots were in use. However the neighbors were polite enough to move one of theirs without issue.'

'The house was perfect, beautiful, hardwood floors, completely redone bathrooms with all of an older homes charm restored. There are all kinds of unique, thoughtful touches, including a working record player with plenty of albums to choose from. Just two blocks from the park, it is perfectly located. I would definitely recommend!'

'This is the second year that we stayed at Martin's place. We love it her as it has exactly what we want for a home base while we explore the Starved Rock area. Always clean and welcoming. Highly recommended. PS we will be back soon!'

'This was such a cute little house with a great backyard. Very dog friendly, even left treats and toys for our dog. The house was very clean and fulfilled our needs for our weekend trip.'

'The location was beautiful, check-in process was simple, but the house needs some attention. I sent a list of things to the property manager who assured me those things would be addressed. Probably the most impactful to us was the lack of hot water all weekend, although i didnt mention anything until the last day because i didnt want to deal with someone in there repairing or replacing a water heater while we were staying there. Again, beautiful location and that deck is very nice. '

Townhome was rustic cute and fine for a night but with many small issues that added up.No screens on most windows or sliding doors & dining ceiling fan didn't work so we couldn't air the slight stink out. Main level window is missing its lock. Couch is extremely uncomfortable with springs pushing up each cushion. King bed sheets had several stains, I hope they weren't actually dirty but there were dirty footprints on lower bathroom floor so cleanliness was...

'My wife, daughter, dog and I had a wonderful stay at this farmhouse. It was clean, well kept, and exactly as advertised. Our 1yr old daughter loved all the animals around the farm, and our dog loved the big yard to run around in. Very close to both Starved Rock and Matthiessen, easy driving distance to both.Can't recommend this place enough. '
