'We had such a lovely stay at Langley Castle Hotel. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and made the whole experience feel really special. We stayed in the Percy Room, which was full of charm and character while still being very comfortable. Staying in an actual castle was such a unique experience. We also loved walking the nearby trails and grounds — it was peaceful and beautiful, especially in the evening. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with great food...

'Als je houd van een typisch Engels verblijf op het platteland dan is dit een prachtig voorbeeld zoals je kan zien in Engelse series. Het minpunt is dat de sanitaire voorzieningen dan ook wat minder zijn maar de vriendelijke ontvangst en het lekkere eten maakt het goed.'

'Very nice staff. Straight forward public house atmosphere. Beer tasting and band playing downstairs well into the evening, but not a significant issue. Nice breakfast and really beautiful surroundings.'

'Room was fine, tea and coffee wasn't very nice and no complementary biscuits. No magnifying mirror in the bathroom. States Brompton however 8 miles away. Bed was really uncomfortable. Evening meal was nice, 10% surcharge on you bill! Wine expenses! Breakfast was so so. Waited a long time for someone to come to the checkin fest on arrival and departure. Probably would try an alternative hotel '

'This was an overnight stop on the Coast to Coast bike ride. The staff are great, property a little tired. Breakfast excellent. Relatively expensive but was a clean warm room bed for the night.'

'Quirky place to stay! Lovely big room for our family of four, in peaceful surroundings next to a ruined castle and 10 minutes from Hadrians Wall! Friendly staff and nice home cooked food for dinner and breakfast!'
