Nice premises but lacking service.
The premises were pleasant, recently refurbished, but a bit stuffy and the television didn’t work! The breakfast was a real disappointment. It was “get it yourself” with no supervision. The produce was prepackaged, and really wasn’t a Continental breakfast. Croissants in wrappers, no fresh meat, cheese or rolls. No filter coffee. A bit of effort could have made something special.

Fantastic
A last minute booking for a business trip. I can not recommend this place highly enough. Fantastic clean room, a great shower and a comfortable bed, all situated next to a great pub that serves great food, great beer complimented by super friendly efficient staff. 5 massive stars, This will be the only place I will stay in this area from now on

Being quite remote is an advantage and a disadvantage, it’s a local pub for local people but the staff make you feel welcome. There was not terrestrial tv in the room so you have to log into one of your streaming services, fine if you have them but no good for news and live programs. Our door key fitted the main door as well as our door, this made us think that this may mean the other keys may also fit our door? Continental breakfast is in the kitchen type area, and seems well stocked, I hope you get along with the other guests as there is nowhere to hide over breakfast.

A nice clean and well appointed room with modern functioning en-suite facilities. The Smart TV and self service breakfast worked for me but may not work for everyone. Great if you need an early start.

Great clean good size room with continental breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff and excellent food at the pub. One of the best pub meals we have ever had.

Asked for dog friendly bed and breakfast hotel. do0gs were allo0wed in the bar but not anywhere else. so had to stay in the car.

The room that you booked was not one of our dog friendly rooms, we only have two dog friendly rooms out of seven and the entire premises apart from five rooms is dog friendly including the inn and breakfast room, your statement simply is not true. It is very clear which rooms are dog friendly.

Staff behind bar were really lovely and helpful even though they were very busy! Mine and my sisters room was all that we needed for our 1 night stay . Tv was an issue trying to connect to a channel! Continental breakfast was great.
