Tucked away in a wonderfully remote setting near Holme Lacy, this is the perfect place to slow down, switch off and enjoy some quality time together!

Inside, the Lodge has a bright and welcoming open-plan kitchen, living and dining space, creating a lovely sociable area to relax after a day exploring the countryside. Large windows make the most of the beautiful surroundings, while the comfortable living area is the perfect spot to settle in with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a relaxed breakfast, lunch or dinner during your stay, with a dining area providing a lovely place to enjoy meals together.

The spacious bedroom offers a peaceful place to unwind, with a king-size bed and views across the surrounding countryside helping to make waking up here feel particularly special. We also have a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Outside, the private deck is the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the tranquillity, whether you`re watching the fields change with the seasons or simply listening to the sounds of the countryside.

The Lodge is all about getting away from the everyday. There are no busy streets or city noise here, just beautiful countryside, open skies and plenty of space to breathe. It makes an ideal base for couples looking for a romantic rural escape, a relaxing weekend away or a longer stay immersed in the Herefordshire landscape.

Despite its wonderfully secluded feel, the home is within easy reach of the historic city of Hereford. The city is just a 15 minute drive away and offers independent shops, cafés, restaurants and attractions including Hereford Cathedral, home to the famous Mappa Mundi and Chained Library.

The surrounding area is particularly lovely for walkers and cyclists, with the River Wye and the beautiful Wye Valley countryside close by. There are numerous walking routes through the landscape, including sections of the Wye Valley Walk, while the nearby village of Holme Lacy is home to the historic Holme Lacy House and its beautiful grounds.

Please note: You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the booking verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a fully refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver, which would protect you up to £300 of accidental damage during your stay.
• No parties or events allowed.
• No smoking allowed.
• No unregistered guests allowed.
• Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
• Please respect the noise curfew of 10pm.
• Please respect check-in and check-out times.
• Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee of £75.
• Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.
• Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
• Please do your dishes.
• Please take the rubbish out before you leave.
• Do not feed any of the animals.
• Please be aware there is electric fencing around the paddocks.
• All dogs must be on leads between the car and The Lodge.
• When walking your dog, please go back through the gate onto the road and turn right, almost immediately turning left into a field, follow the track down the hill and there are walks around the fields.
