'The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. It does not help the atmosphere but they only start around 8 am so it did not bother us much. At first we were put in an old room that had not been renovated yet. This room really did not meet the standards for the amount of money they ask for it. 'My room had a terrible smell I have to buy room deodorizer to help eliminate the smell. After a long drive to arrive at the hotel I could not use the shower since they did not clean the tub. The tub was very dirty that I could not use it the first day it’s was cleaned the next day. The shower curtain was very dirty with black mould of over use and the whole bottom was black with red that shows the amount of use and not washed. 'Un hôtel toute à fait différent de ce que vous voyez partout! Une maison ancienne, 1837, qui garde son cachet ancien, parfaitement rénové très caquette, on se croirait chez la grand-mère. 'Kind of a quirky place - one big open concept room with fully stocked kitchen, dining room, 2 comfy queen beds and a living room section plus the bathroom with a washer and dryer. The apartment had lots of windows, fresh air and a balcony with views out onto the water and Cheticamp Island. It was very spacious - at least for two people. 'Loved this quaint 2nd level apartment! It was perfect for our family of four and was well equipped in the kitchen. Enjoyed the location which was in easy distance from the whale watching tour, restaurants and right at the fisherman’s wharf where we purchased fresh lobster from the boat! The balcony was great for watching the active harbour area. Liked the in unit laundry facility! There is a steep set of stairs to access the apartment. I would definitely recommend!'

'The houseboat is nice inside with lots of wood and windows, the deck on the harbour is large and comes with deck chairs, table, picnic table and bbq. It is in a good location. The size of the unit is larger, with 2 bedrooms, a bed in the living room, and a couch that can be also be slept on. If you have a family with several children, this is a good size unit.
