'Our stay at Burnhopeside Hall was one of our most memorable ever. Christine, our hostess, was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious and the surroundings could not have been more grand. This is a stately old home, full of beautiful furniture and dishes, near sheep pastures and the river. 'Lovely old building with all its characteristics. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed very comfy. stayed for 2 nights and only ate there and the food was outstanding. '

'Accommodatie is prima te bereiken via wat smalle weggetjes. Eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en legt alle regels uit. Kamer en doucheruimte zien er heel schoon uit. Prima bedden en een uitstekend Engels ontbijt. In de buurt op ongeveer 5 kilo meter diverse eetgelegenheden, wel reserveren anders zit het vol. '

'Lovely set up. Large bedroom and well kitted out. Half board option very good value. Rafters quite dusty and lights are either on or off - would be nice to have softer lighting. 10am check out a bit early too although breakfast still served until 11am.'
