Portland 1 at Heathergate Boutique Holiday Park is truly a home-away-from-home. Nestled in the countryside of Low Gate in Northumberland, this beautiful lodge offers the perfect relaxing retreat. Providing both luxury and comfort all in one stunning space, you'll have full access to the open plan living, kitchen and dining room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an outdoor deck with a hot tub. Ideal for couples, families and small groups of friends, Portland 1 will provide memories to treasure.

The Space:
Portland 1 benefits from a spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining room. With plush soft furnishings, plenty of natural light and neutral tones with pops of colour, this space has an inviting look and relaxing feel. Perfect for unwinding, the living area has a two-seater sofa and two matching armchairs as well as an electric stove fire.

When preparing a big family meal, it's no problem at all at Portland 1. The country-style kitchen has plenty of storage, including a double-width larder with wicker drawers, and modern amenities such as an oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. A dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer are also provided for added convenience. The breakfast bar is great for socialising with the cook and enjoying your morning coffee. In addition, you can share family meals around the freestanding dining table.

The stunning master bedroom at Portland 1 features a king-size bed with lift-up storage and a full height padded headboard. Additionally, the room has a mirrored dressing area, a walk-in wardrobe, and an en suite shower room. Ideal for children or solo members of your group, the second bedroom has two single beds providing everyone with their own space.

The family bathroom includes a bathtub with an overhead shower, WC and basin.

Opened at the end of 2023 Heathergate boasts an intimate spa facility that includes a small heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gymnasium. This lovely facility enhances the quiet and relaxing nature of the park.

The nearest train station to Low Gate can be found in Hexham, a short 10-minute drive away from Heathergate Boutique Holiday Park. Hexham has direct services operating to locations across Northern England including Carlisle, Middlesbrough, Morpeth, Newcastle upon Tyne and Whitby.

One bus route operates in Low Gate. The 688 operates between Hexham, Allendale Town and Allenheads.
