'Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. 'The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was perfect in every way. The walls are thick so no internal noise. The free breakfast was excellent. Oh and the dedicated parking space just topped it off. Highly recommend this pub as a place to stay. We stayed in room 2 with the queen bed.
Oh and lastly, the Guinness was the best I'd had in Holmfirth 👍'

'Wow! The most beautiful nights stay at The Peacock, the scenery, the room, the food, the staff. I didn't want to leave. I LOVED the little touches - the Peacock shortbread, the glass bottles for water/milk, bath salts.
I've stopped in a lot of hotels and I have to say this stay beats them all. Perfect!

'My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast.
The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine.
The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip.
