Mickelson trail few feet away for walks and bike rides. Like to fish? Major Lake is practically out your back yard. Fully fenced in back yard/parking area. Plenty of parking. Deck for all those sunny coffee mornings.

It was a good location to things to do in Hill City. Host was easy to connect with when we had questions.

We had an amazing time in Hill City and Ken was so helpful and easy to work with. The property was in a great location to explore the highlights of SD and there were many fun things to explore that were in walking distance. The trail down the block and coffee shop next door were two of my favorite daily activities.

The house is exactly as described and pictured. It is very convenient to walking downtown, the 1880 train and the Mickelson trail. The extra half bath and laundry room worked out well for us. Good outdoor seating area and plenty of off street parking.

Very, very clean. Well thought out with 1.5 bathrooms and a vanity area between them. Ken was very attentive if we needed something. There’s a grocery store just a minute away. Great location.

Great location and a cute house, perfect for family, friends or couples. Our only complaint was that the AC was not on when we arrived, there were excessive heat warnings all week, the house was 80 degrees inside and it was really hard to cool off the bedrooms upstairs. Also they did not have any games, playing cards etc.

This house was perfect for our family vacation in the Black Hills! It is walking distance from all the shops and restaurants in the little downtown area of Hill City. It’s right next door to a wonderful coffee shop, so we visited that almost every day of our stay. The house is also centrally located for easy visits to all of the major tourist attractions around (Custer, Mt. Rushmore, Crazyhorse, Sylvan Lake, etc.). Ken was also super helpful with insights about places to see and visit in town. Great host! We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Would be nice if screens on windows. Extra garbage cans. Light bulbs out in couple of lamps. Otherwise we had a great time, easy walking to restaurants and driving to our hiking list.Would stay here again.

Cozy Hill City House

A great place to stay! Short walk to Hill City attractions. Super cozy, and furnished in the Western style. We had a wonderful stay. Very friendly host!
