Thin walls - could hear the tv from next room so couldn't sleep. Towels and bedding are rough basics. Needed a hair dryer - an employee came to our room and installed one on the wall (that was nice of her). They said no one had ever asked for one in our room. 'We are traveling with a 90 year old. The elevator is not working so she is having to climb stairs every time we leave. This hotel should not be able to advertise breakfast. Oatmeal mix packets and granola bars at the end of the check in counter is not breakfast. The room smells like smoke when we enter. Advertised kitchen items are not available when needed. '

'We waren hier een week voor familie bezoek in San Jose. Vriendelijk personeel en dagelijks een verschoonde kamer. Ontbijt tot 9.00 was voor ons soms wat te vroeg ;-). Prima en betaalbaar alternatief voor het dure San Jose (30 minuten rijden). Houdt wel rekening met files richting SJ tot 10.00pm (en weer terug aan eind can de dag) Outlet malls naast de deur. Helaas in Gilroy zelf veel leegstand in de winkelstraat. Vanuit hier ook lekker snel aan het strand in Santa Cruz of het gezellige...

'The office was not clearly marked and the couple that was helping me check in (I believe the owners) were arguing with raised voices. The room was run down and a lot smaller than expected. The bathroom had hair stuck to the walls in different places. The parking lot was a one lane and no way to get out at the other end which made it difficult to leave.'

'Everything is clean and the staff is amazing. We stay in a lot of hotels and travel a lot, and the staff at the Hampton Inn in Gilroy is really one of the best. However, their breakfast are awful. Again the staff does their best, but the food quality is really bad. Also, we had a seven day stay and we needed to request housekeeping. And most of the hotels where we stay if you’re over three days, you automatically get a housekeeping. I think they should rethink that policy because it’s kind of...

I called the hotel just to confirm what name came through and the so-called manager answered super rudely didn’t even give me a chance to explain what I was looking for, and he said you have to contact where you booked through. That is no way to speak to someone who’s actually booking for services with you.
