De villa is een enkel verhaal met een open, ruime plattegrond die is gevuld met zonlicht. De leefruimte is comfortabel ingericht, heeft kathedraalplafonds, een speeltafel voor vier personen, een babyvleugel en een grote flatscreen-tv die perfect is voor een filmavond na een lange dag in de zon op het strand. De eettafel staat open voor de woonkamer en biedt plaats aan zes gasten, er is ook een doorgang naar de keuken. De keuken is pas geschilderd, is goed uitgerust en heeft nieuwere roestvrijstalen apparaten. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers, de hoofdslaapkamer heeft kingsize beddengoed, nieuw beddengoed, een plafondventilator, een zithoek en een eigen gerenoveerde complete badkamer. De logeerkamer heeft 2 aparte bedden, nieuw beddengoed, een plafondventilator en een eigen bijgewerkte complete badkamer. T

Er zijn wasfaciliteiten in de villa, er is parkeergelegenheid aan de voorkant van de villa en er is een patio aan de woonkamer met zitplaatsen voor 4 personen en een houtskoolgrill.

Er is een prachtig nieuw gerenoveerd complex zwembad gelegen net buiten de schuifdeur aan de rechterkant van de villa binnen een minuut lopen. Het strand ligt op een korte fietstocht van de villa, toegang tot het strand bevindt zich in het Dunes House en tijdens het hoogseizoen vervoert de Dunes Buggy gasten binnen de plantage, inclusief de jachthavenzijde bij Shelter Cove. Er zijn kilometers fietspaden, lagunes, wateractiviteiten, 3 golfbanen, tennisbanen, een winkel en een eetgelegenheid op de plantage.

Our Third Year at Same Property

My husband, 9.5 year old Weim, and myself enjoyed our third annual trip to the property. The property remains in good shape including nice towels, linens. It is a great space with full accommodations. The only thing different this year is that a lady that said she lives in unit directly across from the deck of this unit came and pounded on the door during the day when we were in taking a break. She told us to turn our lights off at night because they were glaring in her bedroom. She was very rude. That is, of course, not the property owner/managers fault. But, it did put a damper on our time halfway through. Our pup is getting older and starting to slow down some, so we do keep lights on as he has to go out several times during the night. Pets are allowed and extra is paid to allow them to stay.

This was our second stay here including my husband and our dog. It’s a great space!! Comfortable furniture, very nice towels, clean, spacious and great location for us. We have already booked again for next year.

Nice Space and Location

We were very pleased with the space and location. This was our third time renting in Queens Grant. The third time was the charm. We will book again for this location. It was perfect for us. It was a great stay. Great floor plan. Nice and plentiful towel sets. Comfortable bed and pillows. Decent décor for the beach. Comfortable furniture in the living room. The TV's worked well; did not have to stream anything. Nice updated kitchen. Nice deck in back. It was exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We did have a similar issue with the door lock not taking the code that was mailed to us in advance. The property management office was quick to resolve that for us. However, I do want to point out that last evening around 8:00 pm, we heard the lock go off on the front door. We did not think anything of it. But, this morning when my husband took our dog for a walk and came back, our code no longer worked and this was several hours before check out time. So, I am wondering if the timer is off for resetting the code. Just a thought. We did set the check out code when we left out just before 8:00 am, so I wonder if that will cause an issue for those coming behind us.

Tennis and beach stay

First, We couldn’t access the property because the lock code was not correct. We use the emergency number and Dave came to a rescue immediately. He is to be commended for his efficiency. The dog hair in the house was extreme, covering floors and furniture. We had to vacuum and mop. The water pressure in the primary bathroom has no flow whatsoever from the faucet. The sliding door in the living room had to be slammed in order to close and lock. The front door had to be held closed with one hand while locking with the other hand. The bathroom door in the primary bathroom squeaked loudly, waking anyone still sleeping. The location was fantastic for beach and tennis.

Perfect Location - Lovely Atmosphere

If only the property managers could change the weather, we would have had a phenomenal week!!! We brought our two daughters (12 and 17) and enjoyed all the amenities. The pool only a few steps away from the back deck, the cleanliness of the home, the updated property was inviting and bright. Our biggest complaint was that we were told our welcome packet was mailed July 1st and it never reached us. We got one parking pass when we arrived at the checkin. We were interested in getting a second pass for our daughter that lives locally we wanted to see a few times during the week since we don’t see her often living so far away. The back and forth between the property managers and palmetto dunes office was a bit annoying as it was a “you need to call them” game. That being said, it worked out and they made sure in the end we got one. There was also supposed to be some sort of discount coupons in our welcome packet that we didn’t receive and never got upon arrival which was also annoying because we may have been able to save some money. The property managers were told we didn’t receive the welcome pack so we feel they should have known to let this stuff in our rental for us. The only things I can recommend are to make sure to let guests know that for coffee pots they need filters. Minor things like this are helpful. Guests most likely know they need to go to the store but may know there aren’t filters if they don’t look and why would they? Not everyone uses Keurig’s. Overall, despite the weather, we had a great week! Would definitely rent here again!!!

Beautiful single floor villa

This villa was so lovely to stay in. Having everything on one floor was very convenient, though its technically not handicap accessible (no ramp or special accommodations inside). One bathroom has a tub and the other has a walk in shower. The villa shares no walls with other villas which is also really nice. It was recently updated, and is very open and airy in the common areas. Plentiful quality bath towels were provided, a nice change from some rentals we've stayed in - however we were only provided kitchen washcloths and no hand towels for drying dishes. They also provided beach towels. The deck is large and the outdoor furniture very comfortable. Could use a patio dining set with umbrella so you can sit outside and have shade during the sunny party of the day. The beds in the second bedroom are new, but I don't think the bed in the master has been updated as my side was definitely indented and forced me to sleep in one small spot as moving required rolling uphill toward the center of the bed. We used the washing machine and it leaked on the second load. I called the management company to notify them and they offered to send someone out the following day or wait until after our departure. We also received a check-in call from the manager of the company just to see how things were going, which we found a nice touch. I was able to inform him about the washer also. The one major repair needed is the sliding door from the living room to the deck is extremely difficult from the inside, and almost impossible to use from the outside. All in all, a really nice villa and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice quiet stay on HHI.

We had a great time and the villa was great! It worked well for our family of 4 and we liked the open layout of this place. It was slightly dated, but not enough to hinder our experience. Everything was clean and functional and it allowed all 4 of us to have a great time, and very close to the beach and everything else we needed.

Spacious property, great location

Loved the location as we were relatively close to everything on the island. Loved being in Palmetto Dunes—Outfitters nearby our property made kayak rental easy (and bikes). Villa was quite spacious and had everything we needed for a great stay.

DATED BUT QUIET

The condo is bit dated although the bathrooms were nicely renovated. The Pros of this unit is that there are no shared walls. Fairly quiet. And it has a nice outdoor area for your pet just off the LR and Master BR. But the sliding door out of LR to back area was off track and very difficult to open and close and lock. Kitchen well stocked with accessories although the glassware was filmy and looked dirty. The main room TV was a bear to get to operate and the DVD player was just unplugged and sitting in a cupboard. No instructions anywhere.. We had to rewire/figure out all three of the TV's. BR TV was missing an HD cable which we found, laying behind it, still unwrapped and unused. The Master Bath shower doors were dirty. The piano is a nice touch but useless for most of us. LR Furniture had a funky smell. Didn't look like comforter had been washed in master BR.
