Dit rustige privé-huisje heeft alle gemakken van thuis, maar ligt dicht bij alles ...

The White House is gelegen op een 180 hectare grote privé-plantage die sinds 1890 in familiebezit is en zich binnen de poorten van Colleton River Plantation bevindt. levende eiken.

Volgens planning zal het Witte Huis in de jaren 80 worden afgebroken op een aangrenzende plantage. Het werd gered en verplaatst naar de huidige locatie op Victoria Bluff Plantation. Het is gerenoveerd en beschikt over alle gemakken van thuis. Geniet van de rust, omringd door weiden, bossen en een prachtig uitzicht op het moeras vanaf uw uitgestrekte veranda waar u kunt genieten van uw ochtendkoffie terwijl u de zonsopgang over Mackay's Creek bekijkt.

Mocht u besluiten om eropuit te trekken, zijn stranden, golf en tennis op Hilton Head Island slechts een klein eindje rijden, net als het oude centrum van Bluffton. Of misschien kan een dagtocht worden opgeslagen naar Historic Beaufort, Savannah of Charleston.

Als u van varen houdt, is er voldoende ruimte om uw boot of kajaks op te slaan en te profiteren van de vele openbare bootlandingen in het gebied.

Home away from hime

Fantastic drive out through a gated neighborhood complete with moss covered trees and unparalleled views of the low country. Close enough to EVERYTHING. The backporch was amazing, from morning coffee to dinner on the picnic table, it is easily the most memorable aspect of the stay. Ms. Rachael, as noted in several other reviews, is in fact very reachable should the need arise. In our case she proved invaluable in giving much appreciated information on not only Bluffton and Hilton Head but surrounding areas as well. House was very well equipped as we stayed 7ish days and cooked 2 out of 3 meals each day at home. Would highly recommend. We look forward to staying again on our return!

Always amazing

Just loved staying at this perfect cottage with a ton of southern charm. We have stayed there multiple times and the setting is so peaceful and gorgeous. Moss on the trees and an amazing view of the marsh and water. The back deck is so therapeutic and relaxing, I could sit there all day. I highly recommend staying there..

Very relaxing stay!

We really enjoyed our time. We had great weather and sitting on the porch looking at the marsh and trees was just what I needed. It is a little bit of a drive to Hilton Head but it was the perfect mixture of being close to activities but staying in a relaxing environment. Bluffton is a very cute town as well. We used the grill one night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the host was great. We definitely see ourselves wanting to stay again.

Genuine Low Country Life

We stayed for a month in the White House and didn't want to leave. The property was amazing. We all felt like we were living on a mid-century low-country estate. Not pretentious, but nicely appointed and cozy. The hosts were attentive and available - live nearby. If you are looking for a genuine experience, book a stay with Hank and Rachel. I know we will be back!
